2 TOUR PROGRAM May 20 - Friday USA / BERLIN Depart USA to Berlin May 21- Saturday BERLIN Arrival in Berlin. Mee ng with our representa ve at the airport and transfer to our hotel. A ernoon departure for a panoramic city tour. It highlights the Church's Memorial Tower, the Red Town Hall, the Radio Tower, the Brandenburg Gate, symbol since 1999 of the reunifica on of the country, the Reichstag, new Houses of the German Parliament. One of the most impressive is the square of Gendarmenmarkt. Dinner and overnight. May 22 Sunday BERLIN / PRAGUE Breakfast. Departure to Prague. Visit the city of Prague. During the panoramic tour, we will see the Republic Square, where is one of the oldest towers in Prague, the Tower of Pólvora and the Municipal House; Wenceslao Square, the largest of three gigan c squares constructed by Charles IV for his new town. Dinner and overnight. May 23 Monday PRAGUE / PASSAU Breakfast. Departure to the Port of Passau boarding at 16:00 on our cruise MS EUROPE of CROISI. Time to se le comfortably in your cabins before mee ng the crew. At 17:00, we set off cruising along the Danube towards the Austrian- German border through the a rac ve region of Engelhartszell. May 24 Tuesday CRUISE: PASSAU / WIEN Breakfast on board before disembarking at 8.00 am for an excursion to the Benedic ne Abbey of Melk: the Baroque Ecstasy in the Danube valley. As if it were a pain ng of Roman cism or the backdrop of a work, it looks out on a Rocky Hill one of the most beau ful examples of Baroque architecture in Austria. Return to the ship around and sail on to Dürnstein. Arriving there for lunch around 12:30. Dürstein is the best known village in the Wachau thanks to the legend of King Richard the Lion Heart. May 25 Wednesday CRUISE: WIEN / ESTZERGOM Breakfast on board and departure for a guided tour of the ancient capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, washed by the Danube, a marvel for the senses. On our visit we will know the Schonnbrun Palace, which was the summer residence of the Emperor of Austria and his family. Here lived celebri es such as Frank Joseph and Sissi. Lunch on board before enjoying a free a ernoon to tour this magnificent city on your own. Back on board by 19:00 before sailing on towards Budapest, passing Bra slava on the way. May 26 Thursday CRUISE: ESTZERGOM/BUDAPEST Breakfast on board before visi ng Esztergom at your own pace, the former capital of Hungary, under the reign of the Arpad kings. It is s ll a prominent town as it is the seat of the Hungarian archbishops. Esztergom is decidedly full of treasures with its neo-classic basilica and former Royal Palace. We set sail once again around noon to arrive in Budapest around 16:00. The Hungarian capital, which lies along the banks of the Danube, also known as the pearl of the Danube is one of the most a rac ve ci es in Europe. Enjoy some free me to explore the city before returning to the ship for dinner. Op onal visit of Budapest by night. May 27 - Friday CRUISE: BUDAPEST Breakfast on board. Departure for a morning sightseeing tour of the city. Budapest embodies the contrast between the twin ci es of Buda and Pest, which were separated one from the other on each bank of the Danube before being reunited in Buda, the higher of the two ci es, with its winding cobble-stoned streets and baroque palaces, Turkish baths and Royal castles and her sister, Pest, the fiery, which presents its visitors a proud display of different architectural styles.
