Sports and Specialty Camps Campers develop skills and a greater passion for the things they love or can explore something new at one of our specialized camps dance, theater, art, soccer, basketball and more. Preschool Day Camp (ages 3-5) Preschool Day Camp is for ages 3 yrs and potty trained to 5 yr olds who will be entering Kindergarten in the fall. Each week your camper will be able to enjoy songs, crafts, story time, structured swim lessons, games, nature walks and other fun activities. Daily activities include: story time, swim lesson, group lunch, rest time, outdoor play and walks. Available at Francis Family YMCA only. Storer Overnight Camp (grades 2-12) At YMCA Storer Camps, youth get a chance to unplug from today s technologies and pressures while challenging themselves with skill-building activities. Campers will immerse themselves in nature and tradition while participating in activities like horseback riding, kayaking, arts, paddleboards, high-ropes course and sports. One and two-week programs are offered. Gymnastics and Cheer Camps From tumbling and basic gymnastics to cheerleading and working on Olympic events, our Gymnastics Center offers summer camps for youth ages 3 ½ - 17 and all levels of experience. Summer Child Care (6 weeks age 12) Opportunities to expand children s knowledge and experiences from age-appropriate activities in high-quality early education centers to expansive learning for school-age children. Camp programs provide a fun and unique experience that gives children the opportunity to explore the outdoors, meet new friends, discover new interests and create memories that last a lifetime. Camp will run and each child will be coached by a member of Challenger s British coaching staff. Challenger will hold over 3,800 British Soccer Camps this summer and will coach over 150,000 players between the ages of 3 and 18, as well as completing FREE coach education clinics for over 40,000 parents and coaches. Challenger s British Soccer Camp is more than a week of drills and skills. In addition to taking part in a daily regime of foot skill development (through the 1,000 touches curriculum), technical and tactical practices and daily World Cup tournament style plays, each child will be treated to a rich cultural experience and lessons on respect, responsibility, integrity, leadership and sportsmanship.
