It keeps the frame from pushing up when the cork is self-extracted. It can then be depressed to push the frame up the shaft for easy removal of the cork from the worm. $65

Casco Adhesives is still in business and is located in Kristinehamn and Nacka, Sweden. It is part of Akzo Nobel, one of the world s leading chemicals corporations. The company sells and develops adhesives and adhesive systems for the wood-working industry. In 1932, the Borden Company introduced Casco Glue in the U.S. market.
