A motion was made by Bill Baker, seconded by Fritz Allen to accept the minutes of the previous meeting as read. The motion passed. The Treasurer report was given. There is a $7, balance to date. All the bills have been paid. This amount includes approximately $4, from members who have registered for the Regional meeting. The Judging report was given by Bill Baker. The Membership report was given by Dan Pyzel. We have a new member from Amarillo Texas. 90% of all dues are up to date. Fritz Allen gave a report on registration to date for our Regional meet. We have 25 people signed up. Bill Wilhelm is working with Al Knox and others for sponsorships for the Regional. New Business We are looking for a place for the August meeting The September meeting will be at RMCI. The Chapter charity donation of $ to the Cancer Research will be paid after the Regional meet in Oct. Tip Session: Courtney, with Flash Automotive has offered to have a tech session in the future at their shop. A motion was made by Fritz Allen and seconded by Dan Pyzel to adjourn at 9:00am.. 3 CHAPTER JUDGING MEET The NM Chapter Spring Judging Meet was held on Saturday, May 8 th at the RMCI shop on Chappell Road. Four cars were entered for judging; a '65 coupe by Jack Barnett, two '67 coupes by Michael Johnson and Dale Schafer, and an '82 coupe by Mike Robb. All four received Top Flight Awards, Congratulations to the proud owners, and thanks for bringing your beautiful cars out to share with us. Special thanks to all those who gave of their time to help judge, tabulate, or just be helpful. JUNE MEETING The June meeting of the New Mexico Chapter, NCRS will be on Saturday, June 12 th at 8:30 AM. We will gather at Dos Hermanos Restaurant at 7600 Jefferson, NE, which is just South of the Journal Center on the East side. This is near where the Donut Derelicts hang out. DURANGO CAR SHOW The car show in Durango is on Father's Day weekend. The plan is to leave Friday morning June 18 th, have dinner and spend the night (rooms are available at both of the Best Western hotels), enjoy the car show on Main Street and the cruise afterward, and return home on Sunday. Contact Steve Walker at (505) for more information. JULY There will be no regular meeting in July. Members are reminded of the All-Corvettes picnic at Hyde Park on the road to the Santa Fe Ski Area. This will take place on Sunday, July 11 lh, and is hosted by our friends of the Old Santa Fe Trail Corvette Club. The event starts at 10:00 AM, and there will be free food and non-alcoholic beverages, lots of Corvettes to look at, some door prizes, and trinkets to buy. This is a family event, so bring the kids. There will be fun for everyone. ALSO IN JULY Don't forget the NCRS National Convention, July 13-18, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The New Mexico Chapter will probably put on a social event later in July, so stav tuned.

4 AUGUST In August, Bill and Vicky Wilhelm are planning to host the chapter members for Hot Dogs, Apple Pie and Homemade Ice Cream at their home in Placitas. Details will follow. Also in August there will possibly be a chapter judging meet to warm up for the Regional. Either that or a judging school RMCI will be the site for whatever we put on, and it will be Saturday, August 14 th. THE REGIONAL September 30 is fast approaching, so it's time for us all to get serious about the Regional. Fritz has done a terrific job getting things organized, so now it's time for all of us to step up and help. We need door prizes, sponsorship money, and lots of volunteers (Everyone!)
