3 Minutes for 3/26/2013 Meeting by Pam by Pam Place Meeting called to order ( 23 in Attendance including Guest ) - New member welcomed: Matthew Rice. - Secretary s minutes were read and approved. - Treasurer s report was read and approved. - As of 2/28/13; ending balance of $ Old Business: - SCMC website straightened out by Rich Novak. Thanks Rich! - Discussed 3/01/13 club cruise-in; as well as club participation in Indialantic, Satellite Beach, Strawberry Fest and Cocoa Beach car shows. Despite bad weather; SCMC also soldiered on at Spring Turkey Rod Run Show, as well as Air Show in Titusville. - Dave Roe mentioned updating business cards w/correct address; motion made by Ted Ostovich to use membership cards. New Business: - Kim Vipperman stepped down in her position as SCMC president. - Anna Peek voted in as new SCMC president. - Rich Peek voted in as new SCMC vice-president. - Outstanding balance with Palm Bay Ford to be handled by Anna & Rich Peek. - Anna & Rich Peek met with John Casey 3/22/13 and continue to coordinate SCMC hosting of second annual Rock Out the Violence show. Club members to arrive 9:00 a.m. for parking and registration which begins at 10:00 a.m. - SCMC decided to hold on ordering additional t-shirts until remaining balance of shirts are sold. - Don Stehle volunteered to help assemble monthly SCMC newsletters. Thanks Don! - Bob Carpenter to chair AACA car show 3/30/13. - Joint picnic to be shared with Daytona and Mid Florida clubs in Ft. Christmas April 1 p.m. - SCMC to McDonalds 7 a.m. for Fantasy of Flight show April 13th. 9 Registration Info Registration Information Your registration fee for Beach Blast 19 will include event entry, dash plaque, door prize ticket, and one free event T- shirt...all for $25. Additional event T-shirts (for family & friends) can be purchased for $13 each when you send in your pre-registration form and payment. We will be printing up a very limited number of extra shirts besides those ordered through pre-registration, so plan ahead and make sure to order additional shirts for your family and friends with your pre-registration to make sure they don't miss out! Due to space limitations at the International Palms Resort & Conference Center (formerly the Holiday Inn Cocoa Beach Resort), there is a 280 vehicle limit. While we expanded to 280 spaces from the 200 spots that had previously been available since the show's inception, it only took 6 weeks to sell out all of the spots once pre-registration was opened on January 1st, so we highly recommend registering as early as possible if you are planning to join us this year. As of April 19th we have received 240 preregistrations.
