Gale Krumenacker planned this event with the help of Mary Ann Zanghi, district justice. Mary Ann has officiated many wedding ceremonies with her job, however, Gaile wanted to have a vow renewal ceremony and Mary Ann accommodated with a lovely ceremony for all participating couples. Gaile and her granddaughter crafted the beautiful corsages which were handed out to all the ladies that day. The event was held at Prince Gallitzin State Park and hosted by Tony and Mary Ann Zanghi again this year. The picnic was fantastic with more than enough food from all participants. The club provided the meat and drinks and the members filled in with all the accompanying side dishes and desserts. Rick Wirfel and Jeannie Brehm won the raffles, which were donated by the Zanghi s. Thanks to the Tony and Mary Ann for putting this event together. (more photos on page 2)

In the past cruise-in funding helped finance the borough's Thunder in the Valley weekend activities. But since the Windber fire department began taking on that event last year, the donation money was freed for another use. The cruise-ins feature vendors, live outdoor music and an influx of classic cars to create an atmosphere reminiscent of the "good old days" of Windber.
