Anadarko Petroleum's revised esnmate of huge amounts of oil in the WaWenberg Field has set the industry abuzz with projecnons of a new petroleum boom. The Woodlands, Texas- based exploranon company's disclosure could vault Colorado's WaWenberg field into the ranks of major oil developments in the United States, joining the Bakken Shale in North Dakota and the Eagle Ford in South Texas. These new sources of oil are reversing four decades of declining domesnc energy producnon.
