2 Run: 2360 Date: 4 May 2017 Venue: Leader Garden Bunny: Bibi Tulips GM s Run Notes Anyone who had nightmares about repeating last s week s run were assured that this week it was only a short/medium run. We had seven guests not including Bommy, who has hashed with us many times before. Off we went into the bush initially following the same trail as last week until we got to the clearing at the PBA. It is quite a climb even this first bit and was quite tiring before hitting and crossing the path to pretty much slide down the bank the other side to hit the overgrown tarred road of the PBA. I was doing the run with everyone else this week as I didn t set and as I was walking slowly, catching my breath, a loud On Paper was suddenly shouted in my ear leaving me deafened for a few moments as a laughing Gadget went running past. Getting to the clearing is an obstacle course these days with a number of fallen trees that one has to clamber over or under or try and get around. Finally reaching the clearing I was happy to see that the paper went off to the right towards the small dam and not up the opposite hill like last week. However knowing how slow I am and knowing there was going to be a steep hill to climb I made a conscious effort to push myself a little more.

3 GM s Run Notes continued By this time other hashers had caught up with me and as they passed (GL and Rupiah) they were chatting merrily away and seemed to effortlessly climb the hill in front of us. Silentman and Smiling Horse were further back accompanying Wet-in-Between. Wu King and his guests bringing up the rear! Reaching the top, the trail turned right and right again which was the On Down trail. Knowing the light would fade in another 15-20mins or so I pushed on whilst the others caught their breath. The trail was an old one which we had done many times before and a welcome relief from the alternative walk along the stream as we did last week. I found it a good run and I was out before it was dark so I was pleased with that but the slower ones didn t get back until 7.50pm which is certainly better that the 9.15pm the week before. The dinner gong struck as people mingled, drank and chatted. It was another good night at the Harriets. Thank you to Bibi for the hosting. Next week we are at Sea Palace Restaurant in Pekaka. There should be a map available if not look it up on Google maps. It is close by Tesco Extra in Jalan Sungai Dua. It is being hosted by Sayor. Please come and support his virgin hosting. Please respect the environment which we enjoy each week and ensure that no rubbish is left at the site, including cigarette butts, scraps and general litter. Thank you.

12 The Circle Welcome to our guests who came from the USA, Russia, Australia and that far away place Singapore! Saul, Sue, Christina, Bommy, Audrey, William, Gabby and our old member Adelya. It was a virgin run too for Christina and so she had the great honour of sitting on the ice.

13 The Circle You can never keep a good lady down and Grandma is certainly one of those ladies. Congratulations on reaching 1500 runs with the Harriets. A great achievement and one worthy of such recognition. Iceman has a bit of ground to make up on Grandma since he was awarded for achieving 300 runs. He may start at the back because he arrives late but he finishes in the front. Congratulations.

14 Welcome back to Ian and Michelle after their long sojourn in Australia. Always great to see you both. The Circle Welcome to a new member Mission Impossible who joined after only doing one run with us recently.

15 The Circle A charge from the floor saw Huge on ice charged by Iceman. The crime was taking his harem into the bush with him and then losing two along the way!!

16 The Circle Michelle then called out Mini Sausage (who had miraculously reappeared) and Money. Unfortunately no one knows what the hell it was for!! Another charge from the floor this time by Money saw the Bunny on ice. He actually wanted to put the co-hare, Mini Sausage, on ice but he had disappeared suddenly so he chose the bunny instead. The crime was not arriving to set the run until 3pm when Money had been waiting since early morning. Not only that but they argued about the route whilst setting too!!

17 The Circle Goodyear then called upon POSH to take the ice throne. Last week she was charged for not wearing a hash T-shirt, so what does she do this week? Turn up once again with no hash Tee. Some people never learn it seems!! Beauty Queen was instructed to join her.

18 The Circle Bunny on ice. Many thanks Bibi for a good run and good food. The evening was very enjoyable.
