2 Wendy s Wanderings WHERE WE RE GOING Hello to all members, Information for members attending the Jayco 40 th Lakeside Leisure Park. Anniversary National Rally at Nagambie Please find below Question and Answers, which we hope fields majority of the questions you may have regarding the National Rally. National Jayco Owner s Club Rally Q & A Is the Lunch and Jayco Factory tour on Friday the 9 th of October Free? Yes, lunch and the tour will be supplied at no cost. Why aren t children able to attend the factory tour? Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to participate in the factory tour while the factory is operating; this is due to occupation health and safety workplace regulations stipulated by Work Cover. Children are able to attend the Factory and offices on the Friday however will not be allowed to attend the tour. Jayco will supply a DVD for children to watch should adults wish to attend the tour. We suggest that if you do wish to leave children in the office whilst your club is on the tour, your Owners Club allocates one adult to stay with the children and be responsible during this time. What if a club member is unable to stay at the Nagambie Lakes park accommodation, however wants to still attend the activities and tour s outlined? This is not a problem; they can still attend the activities and tour. We do however require them to fill in the registration form, outlining required details and number of people participating and what they want to be a part of. Where is the winery and chocolate factory located? The winery tour will be of Mitchelton wines- The chocolate factory visit is also situated at Mitchelton Winery. Please be patient, timing of the tours will be confirmed in the coming months. Club members will be required to make their own way to the Winery and back from the caravan park. These activities are free and are at no cost to Jayco Owners Club members. If you wish to undertake additional activities at the Winery/Chocolate Factory these will be at your own expense.

Is the BBQ and Entertainment on Sat 10 th of October Free? The BBQ and entertainment is free however you will be required to supply your own drinks. Are dogs allowed to attend the Rally?

If you are a keen surfer (what in August!!!!) Bennett s Beach is only a 15-minute walk away. The park is also within walking distance of the town, which I understand has a great bakery. We will also visit at least one of the eating establishments in the area. We have reserved 15 sites, which are guaranteed until 12 th August. 6 A lady decided to give herself a big treat for her 85th birthday by staying overnight in an expensive hotel. When she checked out next morning, the desk clerk handed her a bill for $ She exploded and demanded to know why the charge was so high. "It's a nice hotel but the rooms certainly aren't worth $ for just an overnight stay! I didn't even have breakfast." The clerk told her that $ is the 'standard rate,' so she insisted on speaking to the manager. The manager appeared and, forewarned by the desk clerk, informed the woman, "This hotel has an Olympic-sized pool and a huge conference center which are available for use." "But I didn't use them," she said. ''Well, they are here, and you could have," explained the manager. He went on to explain that she could also have seen one of the in-hotel shows for which the hotel is famous. "We have the best entertainers from the world over performing here," the manager said. "But I didn't go to any of those shows," she said. "Well, we have them, and you could have," the manager replied. No matter what amenity the manager mentioned, she replied, "But I didn't use it!" and the manager countered with his standard response. After several minutes discussion with the manager unmoved, she decided to pay, wrote a check, and gave it to him. The manager was surprised when he looked at the check. "But madam, this check is for only $50.00." "That's correct. I charged you $ for sleeping with me," she replied.
