2 Things You Need to Know About SpringHill TOP SpringHill Staff members can be reached using the call boxes located in all housing areas. See Emergency Information in your welcome packet for further instruction. 2. Cars should only be parked in designated areas. A map of these areas is included in your welcome packet. Driving during the weekend is prohibited. 3. The Welcome Session will take place Friday evening from 7:30-8:30 in the Dining Hall. Important information will be announced then, so be sure to attend. 4. The first chance to sign-up for activities will be Friday night during dinner. All other scheduled sign-up times can be found in your welcome packet. 5. Quiet time begins every night at 11 pm. Please be respectful of families who will be resting for another day of SpringHill fun! 6. Campfire pits are marked on the map located in your welcome packet. Please only use appointed fire pits. 7. Smoking, alcoholic beverages and non-prescription drugs are not allowed. 8. Two trams will run simultaneously throughout the day, stopping at locations as designated on the map. While trams are here for your use, we encourage you to walk and not wait. Driving during the weekend is prohibited. 9. Follow activities scheduled times. Please do not begin any activities unless a SpringHill staff member is present. See Activities Information in your welcome packet for more details. 10. Have fun!

The cost is $10 and each participant will receive a T-shirt that can be tie dyed at the Craft House free of charge. Register at Activity Sign-Up. + Don t miss out on the Snowball fight in Joey s Field Sunday morning at 9:00 am. + Join us for dinner at Pine Point Pavilion Saturday evening at 5:00 pm for food, music and games before the Waterfront Extravaganza at 9:00 pm. *Our Zip Line is currently under construction, but we are doing everything we can to make sure it s ready for use. Please ask a host if you have any questions.

You may purchase a meal wristband on Friday night or Saturday morning in the Dining Hall. Children Adults Seniors (age 3 6) (age 7 59) (age 60+) Meal Package $40 $60 $40 TRANSPORTATION + Driving on camp is only permitted upon arrival and departure; please do not drive on the grass. This includes motorcycles, motor bikes and ATV s. Please keep all vehicles parked in designated parking lots (see map). + Golf Carts are permitted, (not provided). Drivers must be 18 years or older and observe the 15 mph speed limit. + Trams will run throughout the day, stopping at locations as designated on the map. While trams are here for your use, we encourage you to walk and not wait. Tram times are as follows: Trams will not run during family sessions Friday 6:30 pm 11:00 pm Saturday 7:30 am 11:00 pm Sunday 7:30 am 11:00 pm Monday 7:45 am 1:00 pm + Leaving and Re-entering Camp: If you leave camp at any point during the weekend, slowly approach the exit gate until it automatically raises. To re-enter camp, enter code 6332 on the keypad by the entrance gate.

6 Important Weekend Information MISC. + Fires are allowed only in existing fire pits. Please do not build fires outside of these designated pits. You can find ample amounts of fire wood in the doghouse located next to each fire pit. Fire pits are large enough to accommodate multiple families, so please share. + Sunday morning worship offering this year will be going toward camper scholarships. SpringHill Camps attempts to offer scholarships to as many people that need it during the summer. With your financial stewardship, you can help other families experience SpringHill Camps. + Please stop all movement (walking, bikes, etc.) if a horse trail ride is present. Horses are easily spooked. + Life jackets are required at all times for all water activities, including canoeing and kayaking. + Please fish only from grassy areas. There is no fishing from the road or in swimming areas. Fishing from canoes is permitted however motorized boats are not allowed on the lake. Fishing at SpringHill is a catch and release system. Fishing bait can be found in the Dining Hall near the pharmacy, and can be used free of charge, first come, first served. + Pets are not allowed on camp this weekend for the safety of our guests. (Special accommodations upon request) + Swimming is only allowed in the designated swimming area and while there is a SpringHill lifeguard on duty. Please do not swim in any of the other lakes. + Smoking, alcoholic beverages, and non-prescription drugs are not allowed at SpringHill. + Personal firearms, paintball markers, and air soft guns are not allowed on camp. + All lost and found items will be gathered on the shelves located in the Lodge and Dining Hall. Please contact a host if you cannot find your item in those two places. All lost and found items will be brought over to the Dining Hall Monday morning. + Eight shower locations are available: RedBrush bathhouse, Erebor bathhouse, TST Village bathhouse, Pine Point bathhouse, Buffalo Trace bathhouse, Hilltopper bathhouse, Wigwam bathhouse and the bathrooms in the lower lodge. + Camp continues in the rain. SpringHill staff members will be in communication with families if any severe weather arises. Activities cancelled due to weather will be rescheduled or refunded. Please fill out an evaluation form for the weekend (Sunday evening or Monday morning in the Dining Hall) to help us understand what you thought went well and how we can do better next year.

8 Emergency Information SpringHill does not employ any medical personnel during the non summer months. We are providing the following information for your convenience. CONTACTS DAY TIME + Radios are located at the Dining Hall and Lodge (a list of emergency numbers is located on the counter upstairs at the main office window) + Yellow call boxes are located in each housing area and most activity areas (see map). Hold down the button for three seconds before speaking into a call box. Please make sure to state your location so you can be assisted in a timely manner. NIGHT TIME + Call the SpringHill Gate House at or SpringHill Staff at INCLEMENT WEATHER A SpringHill resident staff member will make you aware of any possible severe weather prior to lights out. If weather makes it unsafe to be in a non permanent shelter (wigwams, tents, and RV campers), a resident staff member will go to those housing units and transport families to permanent shelters (lodge and dining hall). LOST SEPARATED/MISSING FAMILY MEMBER If at any point you get separated from a family member and need assistance in finding them, please see a SpringHill staff member, and we will make sure you get reunited. MINOR EMERGENCY For minor emergencies, please see a SpringHill staff member. First Aid Kits can always be found at the Dining Hall and Lodge as well as most activity locations. EMERGENCY SERIOUS EMERGENCY SpringHill staff cannot transport patients; therefore, you will be responsible for transportation to and from the following facility: + Schneck Medical Center ( ) is the closest facility for non-business hour emergencies. 411 W Tipton St, Seymour, IN If you need to leave camp the code to get back in is: Seymour Urgent Care ( ) is open from 8 am 8 pm 1130 Medical Pl, Seymour, IN Jackson County Sheriff ( ).

9 Packing List ESSENTIALS & RECOMMENDED OPTIONAL ITEMS PLEASE DO NOT BRING Shorts, T-shirts, long pants, and long-sleeved shirts Pajamas, underwear, and extra socks Jacket or sweatshirt, hat, and rain coat/poncho Modest one-piece swimsuit, beach towel, and sunscreen Sturdy shoes and flip flops or sandals Bath towel, washcloth, toiletries, and comb or brush in a small bag to carry to bath house Sleeping bag and pillow Flashlight Refillable water bottle Backpack Bible, notebook, and pen Bug spray with DEET Dirty laundry bag Please note: sturdy, close-toed shoes and long pants are REQUIRED for horseback riding and paint ball, regardless of weather. Close-toed shoes are recommended for climbing and high adventure activities. Camera and charger Clothes that can get dirty - Crud Wars Individually packaged snacks Bike, scooter, skateboard, roller blades, and helmets Frisbee, beach toys, and baseball glove with ball Fishing pole and tackle Lawn chairs Fire-making supplies (matches, newspaper, etc.) and marshmallows for roasting Basic first-aid supplies and personal medications Box fan Stroller or wagon for young children Alcohol, tobacco or non-prescription drugs Please note: all medications, including those available over-the-counter, should be kept by an adult, locked and away from where children can access them. At SR 258 (the second light), turn RIGHT. Go 13 miles to SpringHill Camps. Entrance is on the LEFT. FROM THE SOUTH Take I-65 North to Exit 50. Follow SR 50 West. Turn RIGHT onto RT 11 North (there is a CVS on the corner). Turn LEFT on SR 258 West. Go 13 miles to SpringHill Camps. Entrance is on the LEFT. FROM THE EAST Follow SR 50 West. Turn RIGHT onto RT 11 North (there is a CVS on the corner). Turn LEFT on SR 258 West. Go 13 miles to SpringHill Camps. Entrance is on the LEFT. FROM THE WEST Take Hwy 50 East. Turn LEFT onto SR 135 North/58 East at junction of 258. Take 258 East 2 miles to SpringHill Camps. Entrance is on the RIGHT.

11 Entertainment Ben Glenn Ben AKA The Chalk Guy was diagnosed with Dyslexia and other Learning Disabilities while in grade school. As an adult, he learned that he also had ADD, and suddenly everything about his life made perfect sense. He dropped out of college to pursue a love of art and speaking, and has been on the road full-time since 1995, traveling to every part of the United States as well as to more remote places like China and Australia. Ben has a passion for helping others learn about ADD and other disorders and speaks about diversity, creativity and overcoming adversity. The Birdsongs The Birdsongs are a Christian Alternative Rock/Power Pop band originally from Seattle, WA, now living near Knoxville, TN, composed of four brothers, their sister and their father. As a band, they have maintained a constant touring presence and have become increasingly popular at festivals, events and churches. In recent years, they have shared the stage with artists such as The Newsboys, Sanctus Real, RED, Rush of Fools, Everyday Sunday and Fireflight.
