2 WELCOME Making Time for What Matters Most Flat Rock River YMCA Camp believes everyone deserves the opportunity to bond with the people who mean the most to them. We invite you and your friends and family to experience a weekend on the banks of the Flat Rock River. Enjoy activities such as archery, canoeing, scenic hiking trails, or test your courage by climbing our 50ft Alpine Tower. Please take the time to read through the information on the following pages. We look forward to sharing an incredible experience with your family. DIRECTIONS TO CAMP GPS LINK We are located off of I-74 East just 45 minutes southeast of Indianapolis and 70 miles west of Cincinnati between Shelbyville and Greensburg. From Indianapolis: Take I-74 East and exit at the Middletown/St. Paul exit (#123). Follow the signs: Turn left onto Michigan Road/421 and travel for about 1.5 miles to the first road (650 W) and turn right. Turn right again onto 650 N. Continue around the dairy farm and the camp entrance will be on your left. From Cincinnati: Take I-74 West and exit at the Middletown/St. Paul exit (#123). Turn right and go across the overpass to the four-way stop. Follow the directions listed above

4 Spring & Winter Spring Family Camp April 5-7 Experience a weekend that lasts a lifetime- oh and don't forget to bring your pup! Family Camp is the perfect opportunity for your entire family to get away and have fun together! Escape from the stress that can put a strain on time with your kids. Your family will stay together in a cabin, share great meals, join in activities or relax on your own. New to Spring Family Camp this year, we are inviting you to bring your dog to Flat Rock with you. Mother Daughter Weekend May 3-5 Calling all Moms and Daughters! Enjoy a weekend connecting with each other and making new friends here at Flat Rock. We take care of meals and planning so you can focus on fun and fellowship. Enjoy yoga, nature hikes, arts and crafts, delicious meals, horseback riding, and more. Memorial Day Family Camp May Kick off summer with Memorial Day weekend at Flat Rock River YMCA Camp- the perfect place to welcome the warmth of summer with outdoor activities for the whole family. Activities include climbing, horseback riding, canoeing, swimming, archery, and outdoor adventures. Don t miss this amazing getaway. Winter Women s Getaway Weekend February 1-3 Come together to relax, rejuvenate, refresh at Flat Rock River YMCA Camp. During this special weekend we take time to press pause on our busy, multi-tasking lives. Through inspirational discussions, exercising, journaling, creative art, and meditation we come to know ourselves in new ways. This weekend is about inspiration and taking time to care for ourselves.

5 Summer & Fall Women s Getaway Weekend August Come together to relax, rejuvenate, refresh at Flat Rock River YMCA Camp. Embrace the outdoors and your own adventurous spirit through our outdoor programming. During this special weekend, we offer horseback riding, kayaking, floating down the river, climb our Alpine Tower, and much more. This weekend is about setting aside time for ourselves, making new friends, and getting out spending one last weekend of summer. Labor Day Family Camp August 31- September 2 Say good-bye to summer and hello to a brand new school year with this end of season weekend getaway. Enjoy a weekend filled with hiking, climbing, sports, arts and crafts, canoeing and much more! Father Son Weekend September Surprise your dad with an epic adventure! Discover the joys of nature with just the boys. Activities include hiking, archery, survival skills, canoeing, climbing, sports and games, and much more! Fall Family Camp October Join us at Flat Rock for some spook-tacular events at our Fall Family Camp. Enjoy costume parades, pumpkin painting, hay-rides, apple cider, and a spooky tree house! We will have non Halloween activities planned as well. Come and check out our amazing fall views.

6 Groups and Conferences Women s Getaway Weekend August Did you know that Flat Rock YMCA Camp is open year round? During our spring, fall and winter seasons at Flat Rock we open our doors to all types of events. We have a variety of housing and meeting options for groups of all sizes. Prepare your own meals or relax and have meal service provided by our full-service kitchen. Enjoy the beauty of our Camp by taking a hike in the woods, fishing in our pond or sitting in our rocking chair. Tent Camping The Real Deal Our Outpost Property contains ample tent camping space, a covered pavilion and a large campfire circle. Our solar-powered compost toilet provides an indoor bathroom facility for the space. There is no running water at the site, but campers can fill their water up at the Lodge at the main camp ground during their stay. Campers provide their own food, supplies and programming unless otherwise arranged with the Flat Rock staff. Colleges, corporate offices, Boy and Girl Scouts, and youth groups love retreats at Flat Rock River YMCA Camp. It is also a best kept secret for family Reunions too! Camping with a backup plan: Our Main Camp can provide tent camping space on our Athletic Field and has access to our Pool house with bathroom and shower facilities. This space includes a covered picnic table area, campfire circle and Outdoor Pavilion with fire place. This site is perfect for the group that wants to camp under the open skies, have access to indoor plumbing, and have somewhere dry to go in case of rain. Campers provide their own food, supplies and programming unless otherwise arranged with the Flat Rock staff. Yurt Camping: Enjoy sleeping under a large, climate controlled circular tent and worry less about the weather. Each Yurt hosts 12 beds and provides an outdoor camping feeling without the tent. Our yurts have access to our Pool house with bathroom and shower facilities, a fire pit, and our Outdoor Pavilion with a fire place in case of rain. Campers provide their own food, supplies and programming unless otherwise arranged with the Flat Rock staff.

Tent Camping The Real Deal: per person per night Camping with a backup plan: $20 per person, per night Yurt Camping: $35 per person, per night. $30 for each additional night.

10 Check-In & Check-Out Memorial Day and Labor Day: Check in for Memorial Day and Labor Day Family Camps in on Saturday at 10 a.m. and check out is on Sunday after lunch. Family Camps: All other family camps check in on Friday from 6:30-7:30 and check out is on Sunday after lunch. Meals Families will enjoy 3 hot buffet style meals a day in the dining hall with coffee and beverage service available throughout the day. Our lunch and dinner meals include a delicious salad bar option. Our food service team does an excellent job of accommodating dietary needs. Please contact our Director of Food Services prior to your arrival.
