3 Letter from the 2017 Chairman May 2017 Well, paintball went off with only some minor stings. The dads, daughters, and friends all had a blast. The weather was cool so extra padding didn t cause overheating. Breakfast in the Park is going to be Memorial Day weekend, on Saturday, May 27 th. Bring your corn hole boards to play a few games that morning. Please register for Mohican Canoe & Camp July 14 th -16 th. This is always a great event. 6 SENIOR PRINCESSES MOHICAN FAMILY CAMPOUT & CANOE TRIP July 14 th -16 th Wally Rd. Glenmont, Ohio Take I-71 South 47 miles (from Pearl Road) Take US-250 Exit 186 towards Ashland (0.3 miles) Turn LEFT onto US-250 W (1.5 miles) Turn LEFT to take US-42 ramp (0.2 mile) Turn RIGHT onto US-42 S (1.4 miles) Turn 2 LEFTS then RIGHT onto OH-60 South towards Loudonville (16.0 miles) In Loudonville turn RIGHT then LEFT onto OH-3 S (1.2 mile) Turn LEFT onto Wally Road (County Road 3175) (8.0 miles) (the last mile is gravel). The correct turn onto Wally Road is across from the Little Brown Inn just past Pizza Hut, Dollar General, and Advanced Auto Parts; If you find that Wally Rd. dead ends within 1 mile you didn t go far enough on OH-3 you re on Old Wally Road Turn LEFT into Mohican Wilderness Campground. Bring just your daughter(s), or your whole family!! Includes a 8-mile canoe, kayak, or inner tube trip on Saturday and two nights camping and hay ride, as well as various other activities at camp. Bring your own camper or tent. YOU are in charge of bringing your own food! Pricing is $30 per person. Note: Children under 6 are free. On Saturday night we will have corn on the cob. Check-out time is 10:00 AM. Cottages/Chalets Cabins consist of two bedrooms: one bedroom offers a full size bed and the second bedroom offers two sets of bunk beds. Cabins includes a ¾ bath with shower stall, cable television, DVD player, complete kitchen, basic cooking and eating utensils, breakfast table, cable television, picnic table, charcoal grill, and fire rings with bench seating for small campfires. Bath soaps/shampoo, bed and bath linens are included. Guests are entitled to two parking spaces, located in front of the cabins, identified with your assigned cabin number. Each kitchen includes a large refrigerator with freezer, stove/oven, sink, ample countertop space, cabinets, microwave, coffee maker, and automatic can opener. Not all cabins are identical. There is no guarantee you will have all the amenities that are in some of the other cabins. All guests are entitled to enjoy the many recreational amenities available at the Lodge such as pool, hot tub, game room and other activities they may offer. *Note: Each Cabin Sleeps 6 and We Have 10 Reserved.

10 Food Activities Festivus Friday night is Festivus. Each cabin is invited to provide a food and venture to the other cabins for their treat. You will need to supply your own food for breakfast and lunch. Senior Princesses are planning a dinner cookout on Saturday evening. Horseback riding About $25 for about an hour and a half ride Pontoon Boat The golf course and putt putt Dock will be open, fishing is catch and release, license required Festivus-for-the-Rest-of-Us begins at 9:00 PM Friday night. Take a stroll, meet fellow SP members, and enjoy a culinary treat. Presented by participating cabins. Everyone is invited and anyone or any cabin can participate. If you would like to prepare and host a culinary treat please let Robert Ezinski know by September8th, or rezinski@sbcglobal.net.
