3 Happy Birthday Chairman Letter from the 2015 Chairman August 2015 We had the Lake County Captains camp out July 18 th. We had 3 families that went and had a wonderful time. Mohican was July 10 th -12 th. The weather was great and the river was just right. We all did the 10 mile canoe trip and took a little break at the 5 mile food stop. The Guides and Trailblazers camped also but we had some space between us. I would like to thank the Guides for a wonderful pig roast that they opened up to us. We also opened our corn roast Saturday night to them. The girls enjoyed a great hayride and go-karting with ice cream after. We had Thunder Alley Bowling and Quarterly Meeting July 17 th. The girls loved those nice gifts and had lots of fun with the glow-in-the-dark hoola-hoops and rings while they bowled in the dark. The girls even gave everyone a dance lesson on the alleys. Thanks Girls! The Bike Hike is coming up August 30 th and Fall Camp at Salt Fork State Park September 11 th through 13 th. Rob Lone Wolf Chiara Running Water

4 Bike Hike And Scavenger Hunt Sunday, August 30 th, 2015 Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail (Chippewa & Riverview Roads in Brecksville) We will start on the Towpath by Station Road Bridge. There is an option to take a train and bike back. The train is a small fee with bike. The train trip will be an option for those that choose. At Peninsula there is shopping, dining, historic places, architectural tours, a visit to Spicy Lamb Farm & more! There are train stops, but if you get tired of biking wave BOTH arms to let the engineer know you d like to Bike Aboard! Remember waving one arm is just a greeting! Bike Aboard! Staffers load up your bikes & you re on your way. Check-out time is 10:00 AM. Cottages/Chalets Cabins consist of two bedrooms: one bedroom offers a full size bed and the second bedroom offers two sets of bunk beds. Cabins includes a ¾ bath with shower stall, cable television, DVD player, complete kitchen, basic cooking and eating utensils, breakfast table, cable television, picnic table, charcoal grill, and fire rings with bench seating for small campfires. Bath soaps/shampoo, bed and bath linens are included. Guests are entitled to two parking spaces, located in front of the cabins, identified with your assigned cabin number. Each kitchen includes a large refrigerator with freezer, stove/oven, sink, ample countertop space, cabinets, microwave, coffee maker, and automatic can opener. Not all cabins are identical. There is no guarantee you will have all the amenities that are in some of the other cabins. All guests are entitled to enjoy the many recreational amenities available at the Lodge such as pool, hot tub, game room and other activities they may offer.

7 Families can attend. Each cabin sleeps 6. $450 for Lakeside Chalet with hot tub. $420 for Cabin without hot tub. Food Friday night is Festivus. Each cabin is invited to provide a food and venture to the other cabins for their treat. You will need to supply your own food for breakfast and lunch. Senior Princesses are planning a dinner cookout on Saturday evening. Festivus Activities Festivus-for-the-Rest-of-Us begins at 9:00 PM Friday night. Take a stroll, meet fellow SP members, and enjoy a culinary treat. Presented by participating cabins. Everyone is invited and anyone or any cabin can participate.
