5 39th ANNUAL TULIP RALLYE April 27, 2019 Begins and ends at Cascade Mall, South Burlington The Tulip Rallye is a gimmick type rallye open to all makes of cars. The route is entirely on public, paved roads, no off-roading. The event is suitable for all vehicles and driver skill levels. It is a laid back and casual "gimmick rallye" where the challenge is to spot and record the answers to questions based on signs and objects found along the way while following turn-by-turn route driving instructions, devilishly laid out by the Rallyemaster, whose job it is to make you laugh as you attempt to find the answers to the rather silly questions, riddles, and trivia. Also note that we don't use the traditional "tulip" symbols in the route instructions. Details and a registration form can be found at BRITSBEST CLASSIC 2019 June 14-16, 2019 Radium Hot Springs The car show will be held at Legends Field on the Saturday with cars arranged in picnic circles, and the best-in-show determined by 'vote with your donation tickets'. We raised over $1000 for local youth programmes at Edgewater Elementary School in this way in 2018, and they will once again be the beneficiaries in The Saturday car show is supported by informal motel parking lot "tire kickers", a Friday evening social gathering, Saturday evening wind up meal, informal pie runs and another Morris Calvert Memorial Rally (poker run). Our host hotel properties will have blocked rooms for our guests. Reservations will only be accepted once your entry for the event is confirmed, so please do not contact the hotels until you have a confirmation number to give them. While principally attended by British sports cars, we welcome British vehicles of all types. MGs and Triumphs are common to the show, but we have seen Mini, Healey, Riley, Rover, Land Rover, Range Rover, Rolls Royce, Jaguar, Daimler, TVR, Lotus, Caterham and Jensen Healey. There's a lot of notable 60ths this year, but we're glad to have any owners celebrate their car's anniversary with us! For info and online registration form:

7 Here it is just February and you have this guy telling you it is TIME! That s right, it is time to start thinking about the 2019 driving season and, more importantly, deciding what you need to do to get your LBC(s) ready. As in the past, 2019 will offer you plenty of opportunities to get out and DRIVE. But we are here to talk about the IBCC Summer Tour for 2019, June 27-30, located in Moscow, ID. We have christened this tour, Discover the Palouse. which describes our intent for you to fully enjoy this beautiful part of Idaho and Washington. The drive to Moscow will in itself be delightful regardless of your starting point, but we have more to offer once you get there! Idaho British Car Club Summer Tour 2019 Discover the Palouse The host hotel is the Best Western University Inn, and we are very excited to be working with them. They have given us a block of 100 rooms, of which 46 have already been reserved. I suggest that you make your reservation as soon as possible. The hotel will also host our Thursday (6/27) evening reception, as well as Saturday evening s awards banquet We have arranged several Friday (6/28) activities for you to participate in if you so desire, these being a wine tour, a dig for star garnets and a Palouse drive. Or you can explore the area on your own. We are excited to have the Saturday (6/29) show in downtown Moscow, where we have been given 2-1/2 blocks to display our cars for all to see. We should have a large crowd, as the Farmers Market will be just down the street from us. There are also numerous stores and restaurants for you to visit. In addition to being able to visit a new town (a first time for Summer Tour!), we are so happy to have you joining us on this tour which will surely be unique. In this newsletter, you will find articles with complete tour information, the registration form and how to sign up for the wine tour.
