Right now, we are showing fl ying with United Airlines, but we will review when Southwest Airlines issues their schedule in mid August. The Madonna/Amsterdam trip still has plenty of spots available. There is a change in the parking location for those in the Green Bay area. We are no longer using the parking lot at the Walmart in De Pere. The new location will be the East Town Mall off of East Mason St in Green Bay. However, the Gelandesprung Ski Club is adding a pick up at THE BAR in Appleton for their Midwest trips. Sly Fox will, of course, still be using THE BAR as its primary pick up spot. Summer Events: Golf Outing took place on July 16. See the event report on Page 3 in this newsletter. The last event will be our Summer Picnic on August 26. See sign up and ad on Page 4 in this newsletter. It is a planned Shared BYOB party. Food will be provided and it will be free to paid members, and a nominal $5 fee for non-members. Presentations will be made on upcoming ski season. I hope to see you all there. Tips Up, Sam Fontaine

TIMBER RATTLERS GAME JUNE 24, 2016 Along with the Timber Rattlers Mascot Fang, all 26 of us had a great day at the TRat s game. While picking up their tickets we enjoyed a few beverages.

It was a wonderful sunny & pleasant evening. The game was exciting and the Timber Rattlers and walked away with a win!

We then went into the gates for the US Cellular Pavilion all you can eat grilled brats, burgers, hotdogs & all the fix ins including a couple of beers, soda or water. It was a wonderful sunny & pleasant evening. The game was exciting and the Timber Rattlers and walked away with a win! Just a note, make plans to attend the upcoming event August 26th, Wine & Specialty Beer Tasting with a TWIST! Complete details are in the Newsletter & on the Website. See you there. Sly Fox Ski Club Golf Outing Wrap-up On July 16, we gathered for the 2nd annual Sly Fox Golf Outing at Bridgewood Golf Course in Neenah. Our fearless leader, Brett Bergstrom, was called away for work at the last minute. So instead of whacking golf balls, he was forced to watch cardboard squares coming out of a machine somewhere in Canada. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon. We all played our own ball (not a scramble) and awarded prizes based on the event holes. Rick Hooyman made the long putt on hole #1, Sheila Schueler won long drive for women on hole #3, and Sam Fontaine won closest to the pin on hole #8. Now the men all failed miserably on their long-drive hole on #5. One into the water and 3 short hooks for the men. But one gal hit it long and straight in the middle of the fairway. So the prize went to Deb Bramschreiber for beating the guys. Afterward, we sat around the unlit fire pit for our après golf round of refreshments in a pleasant breeze, talking smart and snacking on appetizers. At 7 pm, they lit the fire pit and we finished up and were on our way. You missed a great day Brett, but I hear the cardboard squares are doing fine.
