Our booth and our products were highly appreciated by visitors and we had more than 500 enquires during the show, some of which we are already finalising. Gold Silver NEW FEATURES IN 2014 HALAL WORLD FOOD Hundreds of specialist halal food companies from over 50 countries participated at Halal World Food, a specialist, show-within-a-show concept launched at Gulfood this year. Halal World Food covered all halal-related aspects of global foodservice, retail and hospitality sectors to highlight the depth and variety of international halal products. MAJOR BUYERS PROGRAMME Over 500 of the industry s most senior business professionals gathered at the new Gulfood VIP networking Club called Gulfood Major Buyers Lounge. BARISTA BONANZA AND BREW BAR In association with the Speciality Coffee Association of Europe, leading equipment producers, growers and roasters presented world class barista master-classes in the Latte Art & Brew Bar. Conferences, workshops, and exclusive functions provided a comprehensive industry focus on the global and regional coffee trade. THE TEA HOUSE A focus and meeting point for the global tea trade and tea aficionados. This was a rare delight; an authentic China Tea House serving premium teas. WORLD CUISINE International chefs prepared signature national dishes in live animation theatres located at each country pavilion. Visitors could taste, plan a menu, and source authentic ingredients from around the world. EXPORT ADVICE CLINIC Importers and exporters alike benefited from the expert advice provided by key government, industry, trade authorities and market analysts. EMIRATES INTERNATIONAL SALON CULINAIRE 1,800 JUNIOR CHEFS Organised by the Emirates Culinary Guild and endorsed by the World Association of Chefs Societies, this was one of the world s largest single entry competitions and a superb opportunity to see the hottest talent cooking up a storm in 16 live kitchens!
