2 Coffee Club Ball: Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre A full transformation one of the exhibition halls of the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre into an Arabian nights soiree for the biannual Coffee Club Charity Ball. The event hosted over 1000 guests. Ceiling drapes and custom produced props were used to dress the room. Smart lighting and hand made table centrepieces using a myriad of colours to splash through the venue made this our biggest and most successful design and theming event of

3 Mon Komo Hotel Launch Party: Mon Komo Hotel Caribbean was the theme to launch this amazing new Oaks development right on the bay in Redcliffe. Bright overstated colours and use of festoon lighting and flame torches, authentic tiki huts and an array of parrots really highlighted the beautiful design of this establishment. The night was topped off by a riveting fireworks display right over Moreton Bay. 2

4 Ikea Queensland Staff Christmas Party: Rooftop Terrace // GoMA It s always a pleasure to work in this historic space in Brisbane. The client requested magic as the theme and we transformed this space into a mystical world of enchantment. Full glowing furniture shone through the low lying fog that was slowly dissipating throughout the venue for the whole evening. We imported the infamous Nemo chair from interstate for this event. Guests entered the space through a sheet of wonderful lights and walked our majestic red carpet to meet our custom made golden Santa throne. 3

Lining all walls of the marquee with sheets of wonderful lights and using clean sharp lines and classic colours VIP guests were able to escape the bustle of the CBD and step into a tranquil environment that showcased the history of Brisbane City Hall and have an exclusive look into the future of this iconic landmark. Capitalising on the beautiful backdrop that is City Hall we added an array of lighting which was able to be seen from the other side of the city and styled the interior with crystal chandeliers and golden picture frames for a true VIP experience. 41

6 The Prop House Client Luncheon: Hillstone St Lucia A transformation of the luscious St Lucia into a mid summer Spanish garden luncheon was a massive success for The Prop House. We sourced only authentic materials and used traditional colours with an added modern twist to what you might have seen on a Spanish royals menu in the late 1800 s. Table length runners styled to fit the times and use of faux fruits fused with authentic olive oils set in the midst of this hidden garden oasis as our way of saying thank you to our top clients. 5 Thank you to the wonderful team from The Prop House for a fantastic luncheon. T h e s e t t i n g w a s b r e a t h t a k i n g a n d t h e attention to detail was exceptional - from the beautiful themed invitations to the table setting, the centre pieces to even the name tags - truly a treat! We felt extremely spoilt to be a part of this event and will remember the setting for some time to come.

We went for a stunning and elegant look using crystal chandeliers and centrepieces and black and neutral colour furniture. The interior of the venue was fabulous enough that there was not much more needed to highlight the space. Polished crystal pieces fused with an amazing LED lighting display to splash colour throughout the room. Budlit curtain with our majestic red carpet enticed guests on entry to this wonderful space and a wonderful evening. Simple, sophisticated and strategic proving to be a winning combination yet again 6

8 Rio Tinto Windows to the World: Rio Tinto HQ Brisbane A celebration of the launch of this global company s QLD building headquarters. Paying respect and celebrating the cultural diversity of the their business and showcasing the spectacular new building. Sectioning off the top level into the 4 quarters of the world, setting up and styling food stations and visual displays. Strategic use of lighting and custom production of props and signage and use of fresh florals all native to their respective areas. 7

9 Royal Brisbane Hospital Right Royal Affair: Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre 2011 Royal Brisbane Women s Hospital Annual charity gala event. This year the theme was British Affair and no detail was left unnoticed in this full transformation of the Brisbane Convention and Exhibitions Centre. Custom produced vinyl decals on mirrored discs with an extravagant rose ball brought the tables to life matching the white chair covers with blue satin sash. Suspended ceiling drapes lined the crown of the ballroom projecting an air of royalty and classic charm. 18

10 Bechtel: Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre Classic black and white inspired event in one of the biggest venues in Queensland for one of the biggest names in the global construction industry. Understated yet effective colour blocking of the room, tables and linen. The use of silk table overlays matched the abundance of internally lit plinths that housed extravagant ostrich feather arrangements on LED bases which all pointed to our majestic 5 meter high custom designed Christmas display. 9

11 Herbert Geer: The State Library of Queensland Fill the large void space Contemporary Furnishing transformed this open space. 10

12 Aurecon Masquerade Ball: The Dockside Create a whimsical end of year function inspired by the oppulence of a masquerade ball. Colourful overstated and flamboyant. From glitter masks and feather centrepieces, to overhead draping and oversized masqerade masks. This job required attention to detail on every level. 11

13 Wedding reception: Institute of Modern art Create a sophisticated and functional reception space for wedding guests. To screen the space from street view - a curtain of Wonderful lights were set up around the perimetre. The Wonderful lights provided a warm ambience, and to complete the look simple, chic pieces were scattered 12

14 Engineers Australia 2012 Excellence Awards: Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre To showcase Engineer s excellence. A 4m high Gantry was installed at the entry to pay homage to the previous years winner of Engineering Excellence. A road way led guests into the room and the tables were a glow. 13

15 Young Engineer s Dinner: Legends To transform the room into an elegant enchanted garden. A wall of Ivy led the guests imagination through the enchanted garden. Tables were set with tall golden Candelabras, golden Books and fresh Ivy. Featuring high in the roof was a mass of Butterflies- Chandelier style. 14

16 Awards Luncheon: Moda, Portside Create a sleek and modern event, with subtle reference to the outback Australian landscape. An orange carpet flanked with textural bark chips led the guests into the main function room. Crisp white linen was the base for an impact centrepiece of layered coloured sands and banksia blooms. 15

17 ACEL Conference Dinner All That Jazz: MODA Portside Sleek, Black, alcapone styling that highlighted the view of the Brisbane River and the sounds of All That Jazz. Imagine sitting in a speak easy bar with a scotch, smoking a cigar. The theming of this event focused on music and that classic NY cafe: White table linen, musical centrepieces, city scapes and a cafe corner. 16
