Those participants who have paid in advance for their lunch tickets (see attached questionnaire to be completed by all participants) may obtain them from a special desk reserved for this purpose. Those who wish to buy tickets on the spot for one or more days (SF 15.- per day, the reduction for all six days being applicable only to those who have paid in advance), should do so from a sepárate desk which will also be clearly indicated. (022) or (These numbers apply as from hours on 26 June.)
3 (a) (b) To reach the city centre from Cointrin Airport, participants may take the direct Swissair bus to the Swissair terminus at Cornavin railway station. These buses run every 20 minutes and the cost is SF Alternatively, the No. 33 trolleybus from its terminus on the west side of the Airport adjacent to the restaurant building also goes to Cornavin railway station and continúes nto the centre of Ceneva and beyond (place Bel-Air, Champel). The cost of the ticket to Cornavin is SF 1.-. Bus tickets for pubüc transport must n ajl cases be purchased BEFORE entering the bus from the automatic ticket machines which are located at every bus stop, and for which coins are requíred. A taxi from the Airport to the centre of Geneva is rather expensive as the Airport lies outside the city zone. To reach the CICC from the city centre, there is a frequent public bus service run by the "Transports Publics Genevois" (TPG), from Place Cornavin ( n íront of Cornavin railway station), Bus "0", marked "Place des Nations - OMS", which follows rué Baulacre, rué Vidollet and rué de Vermont to the Place des Nations and the World Health Organization. The bus stop for the International Conference Centre is directly opposite to it and is called "Tour de Vermont". The cost of this journey is SF I.-. There is also an "F" bus service from Place Cornavin to the Place des Nations, Grand-Saconnex and then on to Ferney-Voltaire (France) which passes alone the rué de Montbrillant. In this case the stop needed is "Varembe" and t is a request stop, sítuated about 300 m from the Conference Centre. The cost is again SF 1.-. "CERN DAY" On 29 September 195<f the Convention establishing the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) entered into forcé. To mark the 25th Anniversary of CERN the morning session of the Conference on Saturday 30 June will be devoted to two special lectures given by L. Van Hove - "Highlights of 25 years of Physics at CERN" and by B. Wiik (DESY) - "Prospects in High Energy Physics". The Chairman will be Víctor F, weísskopf (M1T). In the afternoon, a guided tour of CERN will be arranged for those who wish to visit the Laboratory. Participants are asked to indícate on the enclosed questionnaire whether or not they would like to take part in this tour. Since the visit will cross into France, participants are requested to carry their passports. PROCEEDINGS It was stated in Bulletin No. 1 for the Conference that the Proceedings of the Conference would be published in two volumes. This arrangement has now been revised, and the Proceedings will be published as a single volume. It is hoped that they will be available in early December. Each invited participant to the Conference will receive one copy free of charge.
4 JCO Nationals oí the íollowing countries require visas to enter Switzerland: Bulgaria, China, Czechoslovakia, Egypt, the Germán Democratic Republic, Hungary, India, Pakistán, Poland, Romanía, Yugoslavia and the USSR.
