10 CONNECTING TO THE GOLD COAST CONVENTION & EXHIBITION CENTRE G:Link, also known as the Gold Coast Light Rail is the 13-kilometre rail connecting Griffith University Hospital in Southport to the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Broadbeach. The rail passes through the key activity centres of Southport, Main Beach and Surfers Paradise. The G:Link features 16 stations and utilises 14 trams allowing less then 10 minute waiting periods between each tram. Delegates staying at the Crowne Plaza have easy access to the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Broadbeach - just a quick 2 minute commute one stop away. Light Rail Scheduling The Light Rail service runs from 5am to 11:50pm, Monday to Thursday and 24 hours throughout Friday and Saturday until 11:50pm Sunday night.
