Many original buildings line the streets of ahndorf, some as private residences, others as art and craft shops, restaurants and German food stores. MOUNT BAKE (approx. population,) Once a farming village, Mount Barker has developed rapidly into a major town, servicing local industry and providing a residential retreat for commuters to Adelaide. OINTS OF INTEEST Fast, safe travel is possible on the S.E. Freeway but an alternative route explores the pretty towns of Crafers, Stirling, Aldgate, Bridgewater and ahndorf.
