5 Day 3 Saturday, 06th June am Breakfast 7.30am Adventure into Borneo Rainforest Niah Caves, Niah National Park The Niah National Park is renowned as the birthplace of civilization in South East Asia. The oldest human remains in South East Asia, dating 40,000 years was found in its Great Cave. The Niah Caves are also famous for the swiftlet nests what we call as bird nest. In Hong Kong and Singapore, bird nests are often sold at very high prices, at times over US1000 per kilogram! Dinner & Gawai Harvest Festival Celebration GlobCom 2015 convenes during the most celebrated festival in Borneo. Called as Gawai in Sarawak and Kaamantan in Sabah, the Harvest Festival takes place once a year from 31 May onwards. This year, as part of the event climax, GlobCom participants would be experiencing the real thing - at an Indigenous Iban Long House and experience the beautiful hospitality and indigenous tradition & culture of one of our amazing indigenous communities in Borneo.
