Numerous structures at DSTG Fishermans Bend have aging BMS that are regularly malfunctioning and are no longer supported in both hardware and software. This project requires the BMS for 8 buildings across the base be upgraded to a modern BMS system, including network infrastructure connections and compatibility with an existing modern BMS head-end computer, to enable centralised monitoring. Includes replacement of BMS control panels, recommissioning of BMS controls, establishments of new communications network for BMS, and updating existing BMS head-end computer system to accommodate new BMS installations. The purpose of this RFI is to ascertain the price and availability of solutions that satisfy the Australian Army s future requirements for the Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) and Manoeuvre Support Vehicle (MSV). Respondents may respond exclusively on the IFV or the MSV, or a combined response detailing both. Defence recognises that the Mounted Close Combat Capability is being sought in a dynamic marketplace, and needs to engage with industry to update cost, technology and lifecycle data. This RFI builds on the previous market solicitation in 2010, and seeks to update insight into potential solutions that could meet the LAND 400 Phase 3 capability requirements. This information will be used to inform the First Pass Business Case for consideration by Government. In this RFI document suite, the IFV and MSV operational and associated technical requirements are in the Operational Concept Document (OCD) and the Function and Performance Specifications (FPS). LAND 400 Phase 3 will procure mature technologies with a robust technological growth and design path. Defence acknowledges that the key requirements could be met by a variety of Armoured Fighting Vehicle (AFV) solutions.
