This could be any kind of character imaginable; a science fiction, gothic horror or medieval fantasy figure, a classic superhero or arch-villain, or perhaps styled on existing mutant, manga, transformer or robotic characters. Once the character has been drawn, students will bring it to life in a short comic sequence using primary colours, bold lettering and expressive action drawing, which will then be transferred onto a t-shirt. Learn the skills to create your own small scale bronze objects, including wax working, ceramic shell and molten metal preparation, pouring, finishing and patinating. In addition you will receive instruction on setting up a temporary foundry. Students will each complete at least one hand sized piece in bronze.
