4 Messe Basel The Congress Center Basel is located in the heart of the city, right next to Messe Basel. Basel is the biggest and ost iportant congress and exhibition venue in Switzerland and one of the key locations in Europe. The exhibition coplex designed by architects Herzog & de Meuron cobines functionality and aesthetics in the perfect anner. Our facilities are suppleented by the Musical Theater Basel (1500 seats) and the different-sized exhibition halls at Messe Basel alongside (holding up to people). 6 Event Hall The ultifunctional Event Hall with its generously-diensioned foyer and gallery is located on the ground floor of the hall coplex designed by Basel architects Herzog & de Meuron. Fro the tra stop, going past the urban restaurant, that is open to the public, you can reach the pillar-free Event Hall directly through the inviting Foyer South, all on the sae level. Behind the extensive glass frontage, which fors part of the spatial transparency of the new hall coplex designed by Herzog & de Meuron, the Event Hall provides a gross surface area of soe 3300 square etres. The transparent building façade to the south can be closed off by eans of a obile wall. The Event Hall is equipped with basic, state-of-the-art technical facilities. A unique inscription syste with a 112-etre long LED illuinated strip can be custoised for individual events. The Event Hall has direct access to the restaurant with its inforal, cozy abience and is linked via a walkway to the Congress Center Basel. 5
