PREFACE The 2007 Asia-Pacific Conference of Tumor Biology and Medicine with 1st Oncology Summit of General Hospital of the Chinese People s Liberation Army and 2nd Chinese Middle-age and Youth Oncologist Forum will be held on September This conference will be hosted by CACA, organized by the General Hospital of the Chinese People s Liberation Army, Tumor Marker Committee of CACA, Clinical Application Biochemistry and Molecule Biochemistry Branch of the Chinese Biochemistry and Molecule Biology Society, and co-organized by the Sino-US Medical Exchange Foundation, with BTHI as the anchor sponsor. As a remarkable annual conference for academic exchange and new product display, the conference has invited internationally renowned scientists in the fields of molecular biological and clinical oncology. Latest advances and technological achievement in cancer basic research, prevention, diagnosis and treatment will be shared. Drugs and medical equipments exhibition will be available as the platform for product display and cooperation between clinicians. Content and Format of Abstract: The Conference Organizing Committee has invited attendees to submit abstracts of technical papers in English and Chinese (full text plus Chinese and English abstracts for invited keynote reports, English abstracts for overseas attendees). The abstract must not have been published in any periodical. The abstract should include the title, author (please submit abstracts with conference participant s name underlined), organization, postal code, address, paper body, graphs and reference materials. The paper should be of A4 size (210mm x 297mm) with 12 points space before the first line of body; 3 points before and after the paragraph with both sides aligned and single-line spacing. Top and bottom margins should be 2.8cm and 2.0cm respectively with both left and right margins of 2.5cm. Title should be in font size 4 and bold. Author s name, organization, postal code and address should be in Sung Font with font size 5 while the body should be in font size 4. The paper should include the aim, material and methodology, result and conclusion. Soft copies are to be prepared in Word 98 or higher versions. The articles can be ed to the organizing committee at caca.beijing2007@gmail.com, or posted to us in CD Rom. The deadline for abstract submission is 15 July 2007.
