The Swiss public transport companies offer the following luggage transportation services «flight luggage», «express flight luggage» and «express luggage». Together with each offer a «door-todoor» service (hotel-to-hotel) is also available. Inclusive AGA luggage insurance, providing coverage of up to CHF 000 per item of baggage in the event of late delivery, damage or total loss. Travelling to Switzerland Flight luggage (from foreign airport to Swiss railway station) From any airport in the world your clients luggage can be transported via Zurich or Geneva airport to their destination railway station in Switzerland regardless of which airline they have flown. When your clients land in Switzerland their luggage will be forwarded automatically to their destination railway station. They will not have to waste time waiting for their luggage. Selected railway stations: landing today by 3.00 hrs collection tomorrow from hrs* All other railway stations: landing today by 3.00 hrs collection the day after tomorrow from hrs* Express flight luggage (from foreign airport to Swiss railway station) When flights land by hrs or hrs (depends on destination railway station) with an express surcharge, your clients luggage will be available for collection at their destination railway station the same day. This service applies to selected railway stations throughout Switzerland (see page ). Express door-to-door flight luggage (from foreign airport to Swiss hotel) This option is an extension of the express flight luggage service operating to Zurich and Geneva airports. From the arrival airport, luggage is delivered direct to your clients' destination hotel via the same selected Swiss railway stations. * To check the specific transportation times for individual connections, see under sbb.ch/luggage. 2 Travelling within Switzerland Express luggage (railway station-to-station) Would your clients like to travel throughout Switzerland without having to bother about their luggage? With the «express luggage» service, passengers simply hand in their luggage at their Swiss local railway station by hrs and collect it from hrs the same day at their next destination station. This service operates between selected railway stations throughout Switzerland (see page ). Door-to-door luggage / express door-to-door luggage (hotel-to-hotel) The luggage is picked up from the clients' address and delivered to the destination address the next day. With the express option, luggage is delivered the same day to the destination. The express service is available only at locations with an «express luggage» railway station. Travelling home from Switzerland Flight luggage (from Swiss railway station to foreign airport) With check-in: flights operated by Swiss and Edelweiss Air Your clients check in their luggage at their local railway station by hrs* the day before their flight departure. At the station they will receive a boarding card with their requested seat number. This service ensures that your clients can enjoy more leisure time before their departure from Switzerland. They will be able start their return journey home without having to bother about luggage or waiting at check-in. This service is available from selected Swiss railway stations (see page ). Without check-in: flights operated by other airlines Your clients' luggage will be transported without delay from their departure railway station to either Zurich or Geneva Airport. The luggage must be handed in at the departure railway station by hrs* the day before their flight departure. Passengers collect their luggage at the SBB railway station counter (during opening hours) at the airport and are then responsible for checking-in the luggage themselves. This service is available from selected Swiss railway stations (see page ). Express flight luggage (from Swiss railway station to foreign airport) Whether with or without check-in, both options are also available (with an express surcharge) on the morning of the flight departure date but only for flights taking off after hrs. Luggage check-in times vary depending on the distance of the railway station to the airport* (selected railway stations see page ). * To check the specific transportation times for individual connections, see under sbb.ch/luggage. Door-to-door flight luggage (from Swiss hotel to foreign airport) With check-in: flights operated by SWISS, Edelweiss Air and Air Berlin Group (Air Berlin, Belair, Niki) Your clients' luggage will be collected from any hotel in Switzerland the evening before their flight departure. When handing over their luggage, passengers will receive their flight boarding card with their requested seat number. This service ensures that your clients can enjoy more leisure time before their departure from Switzerland. They will be able start their return journey home without having to bother about luggage or waiting at check-in. Without check-in: all airlines Your clients' luggage will be collected the evening before their departure from any hotel in Switzerland and transported to Zurich or Geneva Airport. Passengers collect their luggage at the SBB railway station counter (during opening hours) at the airport and are responsible for checking-in the luggage themselves. Express door-to-door flight luggage (Swiss hotel to foreign airport) Whether with or without check-in, both options are also available (with an express surcharge) on the morning of the flight departure date but only for flights parting after hrs.
