On arrival at the airport/ border, collect your bags and clear immigration. Make your way to train station and internal train to Chur by using the Swiss card 2nd class. On arrival at the station take a short walk to the Chur hotel. Check in the hotel and rest of the day is free and easy. Overnight at Chur hotel. Meals: None Day 02: Chur Excursion Bernina Express Tirano/St. Moritz Enjoy the breakfast at the hotel. Meals: Breakfast Day 03: Chur Brig Glacier Express from Chur to Brig Breakfast at the chur hotel. Check out and transfer to train station. Take a fascinating rail journey with the slowest express train in the world starts in Heidiland and ends at the foot of the Matterhorn. It is a spectacular alternative to a flight over the Alps. During the 4 ½ hours from from Chur to Brig, you cross several bridges and go through many tunnels while traversing the Alps. Through the impressive Rhine gorge, over the Oberalp pass (2,033m/6,670ft) and along the deep valley of the Rhône, the Glacier Express travels through an incredibly fascinating and impressing part of the Alps.
