1 OAG Dynamic Flight Status
2 Codeshare information is distributed on the marketing flight. The operating flight does not contain the codeshare information. For example AA 1 operates the flight and BA 1001, JL 2001, IB 3001 market on this flight. We will receive the status information from AA for AA 1 we will update AA 1, BA 1001, JL 2001 and IB 3001 with this status information and output XML s for all 4 flights. Only the BA, JL and IB XML s will reference the AA codeshare information. The AA xml will not reference the marketing carriers. There are of course other types of codeshare agreements so there are a few examples below: Code share examples: Shared Airline Designator (not a commercial duplicate) NH 559 is in a shared airline designator agreement with ANA Wings <Flight TransId=" " Carrier="NH" FltNo="559"> <Equip Schd="735" Ch="N"> <Reg Act="JA306K" Ch="Y"/> <Dep City="FUK" Apt="FUK"> <Trm Schd="D1" Ch="N"/> <DateTime Schd=" T03:20:00" Act=" T03:19:00" Ch="Y"/> <OffBlock Act=" T03:19:00" Ch="Y"/> <Airborne Act=" T03:39:00" Ch="Y"/> <Delay Stat="EY" Det="OFF" CatId="6"/> <Arr City="ISG" Apt="ISG"> <DateTime Schd=" T05:20:00" Est=" T05:38:00" Ch="Y"/> <Delay Stat="DY" Det="ETA" CatId="6"/> <CodeShare Type="6" Seq="1" DesigName="ANA Wings"/> Page 2 of 10
3 Commercial Duplicate marketing flight OU 5699 is the marketing flight, operated by SK 743 Codeshare Type = 1 Codeshare type = 1 is only supplied on the marketing flights to denote who the operating carrier is.
