2 FAQ Q: What is the objective of the market visit? A: The objective for this trip is to arrange and conduct quality meetings between you, our VEDP client, and potential local sales partners (agents, reps or distributors) and/or customers in India. Our ultimate goal is that these meetings will help you generate new sales for your company to customers in India and/or surrounding markets and to provide you with market intelligence only attainable by an in-country visit. Q: What are the dates? A: The dates of the market visit are February 6-10, 2017 The deadline for all registrations is December 9, 2016 Q: Which cities will be visited? A: Delhi* and Mumbai*- possibly a third city, Bangalore* depending on participating companies. *Subject to change Q: What is the actual schedule during this period? A: The registration process is ongoing. Typically, we have 5-7 companies.

3 Q: What is the cost for my company to participate? A: You must pay the market visit participation fee of $2,500 to VEDP at time of registration. This fee is per company not per participant. The VEDP trade mission fee includes the following:» Identifying, screening, contacting and pre-qualifying local distributors, reps and/or partners for your meetings in selected cities» Market briefing on the Indian market» Mission briefing on Doing Business in India» Meeting room facilities for group briefings and individual meetings» Group transportation (in country only)» Welcome Dinner» 90 Day follow up support from Feedback Consulting post mission Additional costs you will incur (but are not limited to):» Air Fare» Hotels» Individual Meals» Airport Transfers» Individual transportation (i.e. not as a group) e.g. to meetings at local companies premises» Sightseeing option(s) Additional estimated costs you will incur include (but are not limited to): USD ~$1600-$3500 International Air Travel (coach) (Depending on the itinerary, number of stops, etc.) Virginia Delhi Mumbai - Virginia USD ~$130-$200 In- Country Flight from Delhi to Mumbai USD tax ~$2000-$2500 plus Hotel in Delhi (4 nights) & Mumbai (3/4 nights) Single occupancy including breakfast USD ~$350 $450 Meals: The estimate is for lunch & dinner for 7 days USD ~$400 Airport transfers & local transportation calculated for 5 days USD ~$200 Visa Fee

4 Q: How are the meetings organized? A: The VEDP has engaged the services of Feedback Consulting, a highly qualified consulting firm, to provide in country support to our Market Visit Delegates in India. Feedback Consulting was selected through a competitive bidding process and has demonstrated extraordinary expertise, enthusiasm and commitment to the work of introducing Virginia companies to their respective markets and supporting the development of international trade between our countries. If you would like to learn more about Feedback Consulting, I encourage you to review their website: When possible and conducive to productive business between the market visit delegates and Indian companies, appointments will be held at a centrally located, specified location. However, in some cases, the mission delegate may be traveling independently to the locations of the Indian companies. Due to the fact that some appointments may be held at the Indian companies locations, travel and other logistics may prevent each delegate from having a minimum of 3-4 meetings each day of the market visit. Q: Will the people I meet speak English? A: Yes, English is the official language. Q: Will I need a passport or visa? A: U.S. citizens require a valid passport and valid Indian visa to enter and exit India for any purpose. Additional assistance will be provided to you for the India Visa process. It must be valid at least 6-months beyond your travel dates.

5 Q: How are airline and hotel reservations handled? A: Plane tickets: You book (and pay for) your own airline ticket via local travel agent or online air travel website. The relevant airport codes you will need for the reservation are:» Delhi: Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL)» Mumbai: Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (BOM). If you do not have a travel agent, I can suggest/recommend one for you. Other flights may be booked based on your schedule and preferences. Hotels: The VEDP will select the hotels and will reserve hotel rooms for our group. We will all stay in the same hotel. After registering for the trade mission, you will receive a hotel reservation form and be asked to list the names of the participants, arrival/departure dates and credit card information. You will settle the hotel room charges directly with the hotel upon check-out. Q: How can I verify that India is a good market for my company before we register for the market visit? A: Please contact the India Trade Mission Leader or your Local Trade Manager. We only want you to make the trip if we think there is a good market in India for your company. We can perform exploratory market research within a short period of time to verify the market potential for you. The more time you give us, the better job we can do!
