3 DAY 8 Monday September 24 th 2018 Monday morning will see you visiting a new project and assisting local teachers at a pre-school in Khayelitsha. We will have planned everything, so you can jump straight into volunteering with your fellow travelers. In the afternoon, we ll help run arts, crafts and educational activities at the after-school care program. DAY 1 Monday September 17th 2018 Arrive at Cape Town International Airport with your fellow travelers and be met by your guide who will be with you for the next 85 days! You ll be driven to our volunteer accommodation in the beach-side suburb of Muizenberg for dinner and welcome drinks. DAY 2 Tuesday September 18th 2018 The morning will bring a full introduction to African Impact, our projects, your accommodation and the city of Cape Town. In the afternoon, you ll get your first experience of volunteering. Today: joining the African Impact team at a community-based foster care home for vulnerable young children. DAY 3 Wednesday September 19th 2018 It s back to the foster care home in the morning, followed by an afternoon at an after-school care program in the township of Khayelitsha. To reward you for your hard work, sunset drinks at a stunning view point in the city center. DAY 4 Thursday September 20th 2018 The morning at the foster care home will focus on early childhood development, preparing the children for school. Lunch will be spent at a remarkable viewpoint with an orientation tour of the local area. In the afternoon, you ll work at a center that focuses on keeping children off the streets. DAY 5 Friday September 21st 2018 It s back to the foster care home in the morning to support the local women who care for the vulnerable children. Lunch is at the volunteer house, where you will then spend the afternoon planning activities for the following week. DAY 6 Saturday September 22nd 2018 It s time for your first tour; a township excursion led by one of our local staff members, which will introduce you to Khayelitsha, Guguletu, and Langa. The afternoon and evening are yours to enjoy as you wish we recommend spending it in Cape Town s city center at one of Africa s finest restaurants. DAY 7 Sunday September 23rd 2018 Free day. Optional activities include hiking Lion s Head mountain, taking a surf lesson*, abseiling down Table Mountain*, doing a bit of shopping, or anything else that takes your fancy! DAY 9 Tuesday September 25 th 2018 Day two at the pre-school will focus on theme-based lessons, story-time and structured play. In the afternoon, it s time for life skills sessions with children at the after-school care program. We d suggest spending the evening enjoying optional sunset drinks at Camps Bay our local 5-star hangout*. DAY 10 Wednesday September 26 th 2018 We re back to the emergency foster care home in the morning to say goodbye to the children you ve been supporting, and then enjoying lunch in the community, where you can try a handful of local delicacies sheep s head, anyone?). In the evening, we re offering an optional educational workshop on topical issues, including the impact of Apartheid on South Africa. DAY 11 Thursday September 27 th 2018 This morning you will provide one-to-one attention to children falling behind at pre-school, before spending the afternoon working closely with grandmothers living with HIV/AIDs. This weekly workshop provides an opportunity for cultural exchange, where the grandmothers teach the volunteers a skill, and in return, volunteers teach the grandmothers a skill. It s dinner and events night as a family in the evening. DAY 12 Friday September 28 th 2018 Spend your final morning at pre-school, having contributed to a brighter future for the children. On Friday afternoon, you will leave your legacy by planning the following week s activities for the volunteers remaining in Cape Town. What have you learned during your two weeks? DAY 13 Saturday September 29 th 2018 Today you will embark on the Cape Peninsular Tour, which leaves early in the morning. You ll visit a combination of local favorites (like the Hout Bay Market) and tourist darlings like Chapman s Peak Drive (if weather permits), the Cape of Good Hope, and Cape Point. You will have lunch at Kalk Bay and proceed to Boulder s Beach to view a colony of African Penguins in their natural habitat. DAY 14 Sunday September 30 th 2018 It s time to visit Robben Island; the famous island prison where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated for 18 of his 27 years in jail. Gain new appreciation for activism as you learn about the lengths he went to in order to attain social justice.

4 DAY 15 Monday October 1 st 2018 We depart from Cape Town early on Monday morning for Hermanus (those who want to do shark cage diving* will be picked up very early in the morning by the diving operator and will miss the first half of Day 1). We follow the scenic coastal road, stopping at Betties Bay to view a colony of endangered African penguins (more penguins!). You can spend the afternoon in the seaside resort town of Hermanus, famous for hundreds of Southern Right Whales during the whale season (July to November) and many shops, restaurants and markets. In the afternoon we will drive on to Cape Agulhas, the most southern tip of Africa, where we visit a viewpoint known as the real place where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. DAY 16 Tuesday October 2 nd 2018 You will travel to the town of Oudtshoorn in the Little Karoo where we will spend the night. It is known as the Ostrich Capital of the World. We will be traveling along Route 62, South Africa s longest wine route. We will have lunch and a wine tasting at a local winery. Afterwards, we will visit the Cango Caves on a guided adventure tour and enjoy the spectacular subterranean beauty of this network of dripstone caves. DAY 17 Wednesday October 3 rd 2018 After breakfast we head over the spectacular Outeniqua Mountain pass where we will explore Wilderness National Park with some canoes. Enjoy an easy paddle up the Touw River through indigenous forest, enjoying the abundance of birdlife. After about 40 minutes, the canoes will be left for a 2km hike along a boardwalk, which will take us to a lovely waterfall and rock pools. After the canoeing, we will head to the famous town of Knysna via the spectacular Lake District of the Garden Route. This up-market little town is filled with curios, restaurants and a waterfront, where you will be able to have lunch and do some shopping. After Knysna we will head to the Knysna Heads viewpoint for some spectacular views over Knysna River estuary and the Indian Ocean. Late afternoon you can spend exploring Sedgefield with its spectacular views and beaches. DAY 18 Thursday October 4 th 2018 After breakfast, off to Tsitsikamma National Park. En route we will stop at Bloukrans Bridge to view the world s highest bungee jump bridge (216 meters)*. There is plenty of time for the adventure seekers among you to test your courage. The afternoon will be spent in Tsitsikamma National Park with its unique combination of indigenous forest and beautiful Indian Ocean coastline. The park has a wide choice of activities for all, including hiking, crossing a suspension bridge and swimming. Late afternoon we will leave the Garden Route for Big 5 country, Addo DAY 19 Friday October 5 th 2018 We will spend the morning exploring Addo Elephant National Park. We will spend up to 2-3 hours exploring the 28,000-hectare national reserve with approximately 600 elephant and some Cape buffalo, lion, black rhino, warthog, zebra, eland, kudu, hartebeest and many more animals. After an exciting morning of game viewing we will drive to the city of Port Elizabeth, where we will spend the night. DAY 20 Saturday October 6 th 2018 We ll have the whole day free to explore Port Elizabeth, which is famous for its expansive beaches. Depending on the season, one can spot rare seabirds or even some whales. The ocean gets warmer every leg of our trip as we leave the Atlantic Ocean and enter the Indian Ocean. Algoa Bay and Donkin Reserve offer plenty to see by the ocean, while inland you ll find a handful of museums and restaurants off the beaten track. Port Elizabeth is a more intimate city than Cape Town or Johannesburg, so you enjoy the benefits this quaint community afford you. MONDAY: Cage-diving with Great white sharks MONDAY: Whale watching boat trip (July November) THURSDAY: Bungee jumping (216m) THURSDAY: Tree-top canopy tour FRIDAY: 2-hour game drive with a qualified guide at ADDO Elephant Park

5 DAY 21 Sunday October 7th 2018 We will fly from Port Elizabeth to Durban s King Shaka Airport where we will be picked up and transferred to St Lucia (the drive is 2 and a half hours long). We will be met by the rest of the team in St Lucia at our volunteer accommodation. We will enjoy a welcome braai (that is, barbecue) for the rest of the day. DAY 22 Monday October 8th 2018 After a full induction to African Impact s community volunteer programs in St Lucia, you ll get your first taste of life as a medical volunteer. You will join a support system that transports patients to the local clinic, all would otherwise be unable to get to there. In the afternoon, you will work alongside local caregivers for home visits in the local communities. These patients are chronically ill or injured, and are otherwise unable to receive care at the local clinics. In the evening, we will take a stroll to the sunset jetty for sundowners. DAY 23 Tuesday October 9th 2018 To assist local nurses and ensure they can consult and treat more patients, you will volunteer your time at the local clinic, taking blood pressure, weighing patients, and directing them to the correct department. In the afternoon, you will help plan the healthcare activities for the week with our trained staff members and fellow volunteers. In the evening, we ll take you on a drive around the town to look for the hippos who come into the neighborhood at night! DAY 24 Wednesday October 10th 2018 Some of the families in the communities are in urgent need of support. As part of the team, you will be using your own skills and talents to help fill some of the needs these families have and bring some much-appreciated fun and joy into their homes. The focus varies depending on what is required by the family involved, but assistance in the past has included providing food parcels, lessons and homework help. DAY 25 Thursday October 11th 2018 Today you will assist in administering a nutrition program to patients, many of whom suffer from tuberculosis and HIV. In the evening, we will host an events night to relax and have some fun! DAY 26 Friday October 12th 2018 Friday morning will be spent visiting elderly, ill, or disabled patients in their homes to aid them, while the afternoon will be spent administering the nutrition program. Friday night it s time to chill out with a family dinner and if you fancy it, a night game drive through the neighboring isimangaliso Wetland Park*. DAY 27 Saturday October 13th 2018 You will have the day free to explore St Lucia and the surrounding beach. In the evening, you will have an opportunity to learn more about Zulu culture both in its contemporary form and in its historic origin in the days of Shaka Zulu. DAY 28 Sunday October 14th 2018 You ll join a hippopotamus and crocodile tour in the morning to seek out these fearsome waterborne creatures. After, you ll have free time for the rest of the day to rest or get up to some exploring. DAY 29 Monday October 15th 2018 Within the local villages, several crèches and day care centers have been established to provide children with a meal, basic education, and the attention and care they so often lack at home. Volunteers will assist here every morning this week and help with basic learning, fun activities and lots of educational play for the children. DAY 30 Tuesday October 16th 2018 You will assist at the day care center in the morning, while the afternoon will be spent at an after-school club for vulnerable children in the community. Volunteers help plan and lead fun after-school activities for children aged around 7-15 years old, which includes basic educational lessons, as well as playing games/sports and fun hands on craft activities. DAY 31 Wednesday October 17th 2018 Work alongside a local teacher at pre-school, giving children an opportunity for one-to-one attention that they otherwise would not receive in an overcrowded classroom. In the afternoon, you ll help uplift a local family as part of our Family Empowerment Program. DAY 32 Thursday October 18th 2018 Thursday morning is spent at the local pre-school, while the afternoon will give you the opportunity to say goodbye to some of the patients you worked with last week on the medical program. DAY 33 Friday October 19th 2018 One of the most popular activities for both students and volunteers in St Lucia is Reading Club which takes place on a Friday. English is an essential skill here in South Africa, so understanding and speaking it will help children finish school and gain employment in the future. DAY 34 Saturday October 20th 2018 You will spend a full day at the Hluhluwe Game Reserve on a game drive looking for the Big 5. Make sure to have your cameras at-the-ready!

6 DAY 35 Sunday October 21 st 2018 We will cross the border and travel to Ponta de Ouro in Mozambique. You will spend the following two days enjoying the impeccable beaches and vibrant little town. This little slice of paradise it is known for its powder beaches, turquoise waters, and swaying palms. On the first evening of our arrival, we ll have an (optional) walk to a viewpoint to watch the spectacular sunset in this sublime destination. DAY 36 Monday October 22 nd 2018 We ll start the day off right; by swimming with dolphins that s right, dolphins). After getting in touch with your inner mermaid or merman, you can spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the beach. This is a great opportunity to catch up on some rest without missing out on any of the fun. DAY 37 Tuesday October 23rd 2018 Parting with paradise is never easy, but our next stop is hardly a come down. We ll drive back to South Africa early in the morning to Tembe Elephant Park. After a brief rest, we ll all get our best safari-outfits on and explore the bush. DAY 38 Wednesday October 24th 2018 On this day you ll embark on two game drives, one before and one after lunch we ve got our priorities straight). The 30,000-hectare game reserve is home to elephants (as the name suggests) and the rest of the Big 5 so there will be plenty to see. DAY 39 Thursday October 25th 2018 We ll cross the border to the Kingdom of Swaziland where we will spend the next 3 nights at Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary. This sanctuary is famous for its green methods and ecological efforts. The afternoon can be spent lazing beside the pool or exploring the area. We will have a braai (a local barbecue) for dinner after a long day of travel and outdoor fun. DAY 40 Friday October 26th 2018 You will have the day free. There is plenty to do so choose wisely. Our personally recommended optional activities include a sunrise game drive*, sunset game drive*, a visit to the Roan Antelope Breeding Project*, mountain biking*, horse riding*, guided walks*, self-guided walking trails, camp botanical trails*, the Umphakatsi Cultural Experience*, or the Esitjeni Village Tour*. DAY 41 Saturday October 27th 2018 You will have the day free again to explore. This would be the perfect time to try our all the activities your fellow travelers have raved about. To reiterate, these include a sunrise game drive*, sunset game drive*, a visit to the Roan Antelope Breeding Project*, mountain biking*, horse riding*, guided walks*, self-guided walking trails, camp botanical trails*, the Umphakatsi Cultural Experience*, or the Esitjeni Village Tour*.

7 DAY 42 Sunday October 28th 2018 We will drive back to South Africa to the Greater Kruger Region and join a Wildlife Research and Conservation Project. When we arrive at Dumela Lodge, our home for the next two weeks, we ll be greeted by the Kruger Team before settling in. DAY 43 Monday October 29th 2018 We ll embark on a research game drive in search of the Big 5 and a variety of wildlife to collect data to ensure that our vital records are maintained. You will join a presentation about the African Elephant and join a team meeting. Afterwards, you will plan a lesson for our conservation education classes. Such a full day is sure to tire out some, but evenings do remain free for the tireless few who want to continue socializing. DAY 44 Tuesday October 30th 2018 You will join our conservation efforts by helping to remove alien plants and conducting snare sweeps. These rehabilitate the land, creating an environment in which wildlife can flourish. You will plan lessons for conservation classes. You will go on a research game drive and collect data. An optional night research game drive will take place in the evening for avid learners. DAY 45 Wednesday October 31st 2018 First thing in the morning we ll go on a research game drive. This allows you to experience the savanna ecosystem in a completely different light (no pun intended). This is followed by a photography on your smartphone or camera course where you ll learn how to take the best wildlife shots and practice on project. That afternoon, you ll educate local youth on conservation through games, crafts, and informal lessons. The evening will be spent relaxing by the fire and celebrating Halloween with your team and fellow participants. DAY 46 Thursday November 1st 2018 Assist in cultivating local vegetable gardens that are used to support the community. Join a Shangaan language and cooking lesson. Join our reading club and help children develop their English reading and speaking abilities. In the evening, we will enjoy sundowners. DAY 47 Friday November 2nd 2018 Join a presentation on how to track animals and go on a bushwalk to practice these skills. Compile and analyze the data you have collected on your research drives. Learn how to distinguish between individuals using whisker patterns, scars, and ear notches. We ll have lunch as a group and then head to the local town to gather some supplies and souvenirs. DAY 48 Saturday November 3rd 2018 Go on a research game drive in search of the Big 5 and a variety of wildlife, collecting data that maintains vital records. You ll also do some practical exercises on how to use camera traps to take truly candid shots as photo-evidence. DAY 50 Monday November 5th 2018 Go on a research game drive in search of the Big 5 and a variety of Africa s wildlife and collect data which is used to maintain vital records. Practical exercises on how to use camera traps will continue you ll be a pro by the end. DAY 51 Tuesday November 6th 2018 Learn how to identify birds and do practical conservation exercises. Go on a research game drive and collect valuable data on elephants, lions and rhinos. Spend a night in a Big 5 Game Reserve and monitor wildlife, record data, and enjoy the lush scenery. DAY 52 Wednesday November 7th 2018 Early morning research game drive followed by an ecology workshop. You will work with local youth on conservation through games, crafts, and informal lessons. You will run the Conservation Club which will encourage their environmental interests, as well as improve their academic skills and give them access to future career opportunities. Free evening to relax by the fire. DAY 53 Thursday November 8th 2018 Assist in cultivating local vegetable gardens that are used to support the community. Join a South Africa Culture Day course. Spend the evening star gazing and learning about astronomy (or astrology, we all have our different interests). DAY 54 Friday November 9th 2018 Join a local Reptile Center and help clean their cages, assist with the reptile food garden, and learn about spiders and snakes by interacting with them (overcoming your fears if you choose)! Compile and analyze the data that you have collected on your research drives. Take a trip to town in the afternoon, followed by a braai (i.e. barbecue) for dinner and enjoy the evening. DAY 55 Saturday November 10th 2018 Go on a day-long safari with an experienced guide in the renowned Kruger National Park, South Africa s largest game and most famous game reserve. DAY 56 Sunday November 11th 2018 Go kloofing (i.e. descending down a ravine). Hike through the bush, explore caves, walk along the banks of a river, and jump into the waterholes that form the Tufa Waterfall. DAY 57 Monday November 12th 2018 Go on a research game drive in search of the Big 5, before participating in a rhino poaching presentation to participate in efforts to save the precious few that are left. DAY 49 Sunday November 4th 2018 A free day to relax by the pool and get some leisure-time in before another busy week. Work on your tan, fill your diary with great memories, or simply enjoy the company of your fellow travelers.

8 DAY 58 Tuesday November 13th 2018 You will join our conservation efforts by helping to remove alien plants and conducting snare sweeps. These rehabilitate the land, creating an environment in which wildlife can flourish. You will plan lessons for the Conservation Education classes and then go on a research game drive and collect valuable data on Africa s at-risk wildlife. DAY 59 Wednesday November 14th 2018 Another early morning research game drive before working local youth on conservation education through games, crafts, and informal lessons. You will run the Conservation Club which will encourage their environmental interests, as well as improve their academic skills and give them access to future career opportunities. Encouraging future conservationists is key to sustainable practice. DAY 60 Thursday November 15th 2018 Assist in cultivating local vegetable gardens that are used to support the community. This is hands-on work, but the produce is organic. After, you ll help in a reading club (better start practicing your story telling voices now). After two weeks of plenty of learning, volunteering, and having a jol (South African slang for a good time ), this will be your final night. Rest up! DAY 61 Friday November 16th 2018 Drive from the Kruger to Johannesburg in the morning. This city started as a mining town in the gold boom, but there s nothing provincial about this megacity these days. Once we arrive, you will have free time to explore this urban jungle and try some of the local restaurants, shopping spots, or hangouts. This is a great place to experience the pinnacle of African fashion and art. DAY 62 Saturday November 17th 2018 Visit the Apartheid Museum and learn about South Africa s complex history. This contemporary museum aims to be educational about a difficult past while also being uplifting by celebrating historical victories. You ll have free time in the afternoon where you can go to Gold Reef City amusement park* to get your adrenaline pumping or get inspired on Johannesburg s graffiti tour*. DAY 63 Sunday November 18th 2018 Go on a tour to Soweto Township, which was home to Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu, Cyril Ramaphosa, and Frank Chikane (to name a few). This community is enormous, incredibly diverse, and rich in history and culture. Some would say that Soweto is the heart of Johannesburg, and we can t help but agree.

9 DAY 69 Saturday November 24th 2018 We ll visit Victoria Falls from the Zambian side (it straddles the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe) and take an exhilarating dip in Devil s Pool. This tourist favorite involves lounging on the precipice of the thundering canyon; the photo ops are fantastic (this activity is seasonal and totally optional if you would not like to do it). DAY 64 Monday November 19th 2018 You will be taken to Johannesburg Airport and fly to Livingstone, Zambia. You ll arrive at the accommodation where we ll stay for the next two weeks; one of Zambia s liveliest backpacker hostels. Orientation will kick off upon arrival where we ll meet the rest of the team. DAY 65 Tuesday November 20th 2018 You will get a taste of all the projects we provide in this location, but first up: our Eco- Building project, which assists the local community through various building developments. We do this through the innovative method of eco-bricking, which also helps clean up the community as it involves building bricks out of discarded plastic bottles and waste! After some free time by the pool at lunch, you ll join our Adult Literacy Club where you will work with adults to improve their English literacy. For dinner, you will be taught how to cook some local cuisine which everyone will then enjoy together. DAY 66 Wednesday November 21st 2018 You will help deliver a workshop on sustainable building and eco-bricking. We partner with the Ministry of Education to work with local schools and communities to do this. After lunch, you ll assist in running an afterschool reading club, assisting the teachers in lessons about the alphabet, phonics, spelling, pronunciation, and general reading and comprehension skills. For dinner, we will have a braai (i.e. barbecue) and host a games night. DAY 67 Thursday November 22nd 2018 Today you will visit the Maramba Old People s Home where you will engage with the residents in games, readings, activities, and provide companionship to brighten their day-to-day life. Enjoy sundowners over the Zambezi River in the evening. DAY 68 Friday November 23rd 2018 This morning you will help communities set up sustainable farming programs and provide assistance in preparing the land and maintaining the crops. After lunch back at the backpacker s hostel, you ll get the chance to work with a very special group of young girls who form part of our award-winning Girl Empowerment program. DAY 70 Sunday November 25th 2018 Free day for exploring. Our recommended optional activities include white water rafting on the Zambezi*, bungee jumping,* or flying over the falls with a microlight or helicopter*. This area is known as the Adventure Capital of Africa for a reason! DAY 71 Monday November 26th 2018 It s time to try out our sports program and accompany our longer-term volunteers while they deliver sports lessons to primary school children. Following a hearty (and muchneeded) lunch, we ll assist a homework club which supports aspiring Mathematicians through extra attention. DAY 72 Tuesday November 27th 2018 After a hard morning of litter collection, and in turn, eco-brick building, you ll run a structured playtime at an after-school club in the afternoon. You ll facilitate activities such as ball-sports, jump rope, coloring books, and drawing with crayons in a safe and nurturing environment. DAY 73 Wednesday November 28th 2018 Join one of our swop shops where community members exchange eco-bricks for items such as clothing, towels, linen, and other household items a win-win for all. Hold an arts and crafts workshop to inspire students find their inner artiste in the evening before sundowners on the Zambezi River. DAY 74 Thursday November 29th 2018 Assist the local community with various traditional building projects before lunch. During the PM, you ll join a local Zambian cultural afternoon to learn more about the communities and cultures you are working so closely with from their perspective. DAY 75 Friday November 30th 2018 Help communities set up sustainable farming programs and provide assistance in preparing the land and maintaining crops. You will get the incredible opportunity to track white rhinos through various techniques. This will cultivate a skill you may otherwise never learn! DAY 77 Sunday December 2nd 2018 Free time. Optional activities include white water rafting on the Zambezi river*, bungee jumping*, or flying over the falls with a microlight or helicopter*!

10 DAY 78 Monday December 3rd 2018 We will cross the border to Zimbabwe where we will spend the next four days. Zimbabwe is home to a patchwork of archeological finds, laidback communities, meandering rivers and lavish outcrops. To start, we ll take a trip to see Victoria Falls from the Zimbabwean side. DAY 79 Tuesday December 4th 2018 Help in a pioneering, globally-recognized lion conservation project which is the first effort to release lions into the wild in Africa. You will work closely with these lions on their daily walks, and study them as their natural instincts develop. We ll get festive with some sunset drinks by the Zambezi River. DAY 80 Wednesday December 5th 2018 In the afternoon we will go on a cruise on the Zambezi River to search for hippos and crocodiles. You ll marvel at just how big these creatures really are from the safety of a picturesque river cruiser, as they swim by completely unbothered by our presence. DAY 81 Thursday December 6th 2018 Free day to enjoy some of the activities in the adventure capital of Africa. This may not be for the faint of heart, as you could bungee jump or try the gorge swing! In the afternoon, we ll enjoy something far easier to stomach; a drum show along with Zimbabwean delicacies at the Boma restaurant. DAY 82 Friday December 7th 2018 We will travel to the sixth and final country of our journey, Botswana. This country is one of the most spectacular safari destinations on the continent. Naturally, we will embark on one ourselves at the Chobe National Park (river safari, anyone?). DAY 83 Saturday December 8th 2018 We ll enjoy the perfect mix of luxury and the great outdoors by eating, resting, and of course, going on game drives. The park is home to the Big 5 and many more that may slip under the average tourist s radar. On this day you ll get familiar with the park s ecosystem. DAY 84 Sunday December 9th 2018 This day will be another one full of seeing the best that the park has to offer, including a few more animals. In the evening, we will camp under the stars for an unforgettable experience. The views of the Milky Way are unparalleled from this viewpoint and we don t want to miss out. DAY 85 Monday December 10th 2018 This day may be a slightly sad one. We ll return to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe where you will board your flight back home with plenty more skills, memories, and stamps in your passport than you arrived with. We hope to see you again; no occasion would be soon enough.

This is a fab way to get to know those traveling with you, but upgrades are available throughout the trip if you simply can t deal with a roomie! While volunteering, you ll be living in African Impact volunteer houses (like the one pictured in the background) with other international volunteers from around the world.
