SUNDAY, OCT 11 Privately Guided Tour - Freedom Tour (Cape Town and surrounds) MONDAY, OCT 12 Cape Point and Cape Peninsula Situated at the south-western tip of Africa, Table Mountain National Park encompasses the incredibly scenic Table Mountain Chain stretching from Signal Hill in the north to Cape Point in the south. The narrow finger of land with its beautiful valleys, bays and beaches is surrounded by the waters of the Atlantic Ocean in the west and the warmer waters of False Bay and has within its boundaries the legendary Cape of Good Hope. At Hout Bay you have the option to enjoy a visit to a Seal Colony. View the charismatic Cape Fur Seal on a 30 minute cruise on a glass bottomed boat offering spectacular underwater scenery. The trip continues towards the Cape Point Nature Reserve, Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. En route to Simons Town, stop for lunch at a local seafront restaurant (for your own account). On the outskirts of Simons Town is a penguin colony, home to 3000 African Penguins, previously known as the Jackass Penguin. Kambaku River Sands Lodge Upon arrival at the airport, a representative will meet you and transfer you to the lodge. Your first game drive will be this afternoon. Vehicles are open air with tracker and guide. Please wear neutral color clothes: browns, greens, beiges. Sunscreen, hats, cool cottons recommended. More about the Timbavati Game Reserve The Timbavati Game Reserve forms part of the greater Kruger National Park and is famous for the occasional sightings of the rare white lion. The Timbavati shares an unfenced boundary with the Kruger Park and is home to the Big Five. Off-road driving, night drives and bush walks are permitted at all the lodges in the Timbavati Game Reserve. Kindly note that the Timbavati Game Reserve charges an entrance fee which is payable in cash upon arrival or upon checkout (not included in your package).

9 More about the Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) Victoria Falls constitutes one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world. The Local people call it "Mosi-oa-Tunya" -- the smoke that thunders. Victoria Falls is meters wide, making it the largest curtain of water in the world. It drops between 90m and 107m into the Zambezi Gorge and an average of 550,000 cubic metres of water plummet over the edge every minute. Remarkably preserved in its natural state, Victoria falls inspires visitors as much today as it did David Livingstone in the 1860's. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is the epicentre of Victoria Falls town which plays host to myriad activities, surrounding game reserves and abundant natural life in the forms of wildlife, birds, rainforests and the Zambezi River. Victoria Falls town (in Zimbabwe) lies on the southern bank of the Zambezi River at the eastern end of the Victoria Falls themselves. Victoria Falls Airport is 18 km south of the town and has international flights to Johannesburg and Namibia. We are often asked if we would recommend the Zambian side or the Zimbabwe side of Victoria Falls. In our experience, both sides are safe and worth visiting. About two thirds of the Victoria Falls can be viewed from the Zimbabwe side. From the Zambian side you can see about one third of the falls, and this section dries up during October and November. High water is from December to July, and in general the views from the Zimbabwe side are more spectacular. After lunch, you will board a safari vehicle for an afternoon game drive in the Chobe National Park where you will have the opportunity to enjoy an abundance of wildlife. After the game drive, you will be taken back to the Kazungula Border to meet your Zimbabwean Guide for the return transfer to Victoria Falls, arriving at approximately 18h30. You will be accompanied through the rain forest by one of our qualified guides, who will give a brief history of the Falls themselves as well as detailing the flora, fauna, bird & wildlife and other points of interest.
