1 8 night Package Cape Town (5 Nights) & (Okavango 3 Nights): Option 2 Day 1: Arrive in Johannesburg and fly out to Cape Town, upon arrival in Cape Town you will be met by staff of your hotel and transferred to your hotel. Once you have settled in to your hotel there will be a brief orientation on Cape Town. Your safety is something we take very seriously and we feel very strongly about making sure your holiday is a happy one. The orientation will also give tips on the joys of Cape Town and places we recommend for authentic and vibrant experiences of the city s culture. The orientation will end on how transport can be organized in order to give you the opportunity to move freely and safely at any time you wish to. Once the orientation is complete guests will be free to do as they wish and prepare for their first tour of The Mother City the following day! Day 2: Guests have can choose from 4 tours (minimum of two people are required per option) Winelands (08:00-18:00) or Cape Point (08:00 18:00) or Cultural Visit and Robben Island Tour (08:00 18:00 Mon-Sat only) or Whales and Wine Tour (08:00 18:00 Wed/Fri/Sun July to November only) Winelands Full Day Tour Enjoy breakfast in your hotel before leaving for a full day Winelands tour, guests will take cellar tours to learn about the history of some of the world s most famed estates and the process of winemaking. End the cellar tour with a well-deserved cheese and wine tasting experience. This is a well-rounded tour as it allows you to go through the entire process to understand how the finished product comes to exist. Stop for a photo opportunity at the Groot Drakenstein Prison where Nelson Mandela was released in 1990 and claim your own little piece of history. Visit the picturesque village of Franschhoek which is surrounded by mountains and vineyards and take a nice drive through the town before a second wine tasting. Free time is afforded for lunch (not included in the price of the tour and is on the guest s own account). Tip: Try some of the fresh trout Franschhoek is famous for. Travel down the beautiful Hells Hoogte Mountain Pass to Stellenbosch. Walk through the most beautiful town in South Africa, Stellenbosch is set amongst the mountains which provide a stunning backdrop to the town. White gabled Cape Dutch homesteads and the oak lined streets and lanes all blend into give this place a charm that will not be forgotten. If time permits enjoy a third wine tasting. No wine tasting for people under 18 years. Children under 12 years pay half price for our tours.

2 Cape Point Full Day Tour - Enjoy breakfast in your hotel before taking a scenic Atlantic seaboard drive along the pristine beach road through Clifton and Camps Bay with their soft white sand and azure blue water. Arrive at the quaint fishing village of Hout Bay, take an optional trip to seal island which was given its name because of the great number of Cape fur seals that occupy it. The dense population of seals at certain times of the year attracts the seal s main predator the great white shark, a trip to the island provides rare opportunities to witness attacks by the great whites on the Cape fur seal and the interactions between the two species. This experience is famed and depicted on several wildlife documentaries and books, there is no other place in the world that can give you this experience (Seal Island trip on guest s own account for 7 USD). If you do not fancy the boat to seal island you can shop for souvenirs at the craft market at the harbor. *Please note that there is no guarantee of any specific animal sightings or interaction with animals as these animals are all in their natural habitat and wild. - The tour continues over Chapman s Peak which offers spectacular photo opportunities. Chapman s Peak Drive is one of the world s most scenic drives, it hugs the near-vertical face of Chapman s Peak mountain and allows one to see stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean hundreds of meters below. The road is a must see and experience attraction of Cape Town. - Chapman s Peak Drive will lead you to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point where you will enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans at the point where their currents collide. When you are here you are at the southernmost point of the mainland of Africa, the area is home to magnificent fynbos, several species of buck and birds, the Cape Mountain Zebra and mischievous baboons. Simply put this is one of the most special experiences and views on Earth. Tip: Take the funicular (on own account for 7 USD) to the lighthouse for an even better vantage point of the two Oceans. - Stop for lunch along the way (on guest s own account) before continuing the tour. - Drive to Boulders Beach to visit the colony of African penguins which settled there in 1982, the colony has grown to as many as 3000 birds in recent years and this special place may allow you to see them up close and personal. *Please note that there is no guarantee of any specific animal sightings or interaction with animals as these animals are all in their natural habitat and wild. - Visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens as the sun sets over the tall peaks of Table Mountain. This is an important botanical garden at the foot of Table Mountain, it is popular among visitors for its array of trees, flowers and walking trails. NB: This tour will stop at Kirstenbosch Gardens where guests will be required to pay an entrance fee of 6 USD. Children under 12 years pay half price for tours.

3 Cultural Visit & Robben Island Tour - Take a safe guided trip to District Six, Langa local market, Gugulethu, Nyanga and Khayelitsha townships. - Visit a traditional healer (Please not there are no guarantees that he will always be present), the District Six Museum (except on Sundays) and experience the hustle and bustle of the local townships. - At the end of the township section of the tour you will have a greater understanding of how the Rainbow nation developed and people of all colours live in this democratic country in relative harmony. The rainbow is associated with the hope of a bright future, and symbolises the diversity of South Africa s unspecified cultural, ethnic or racial groups. - Complete your cultural experience by extending your morning township tour to include a visit to Robben Island in the afternoon. - See the prison cell that held Nelson Mandela captive for so many years, it is widely acknowledged as one of the most significant historical sites to date. - See the limestone quarry where prisoners including Nelson Mandela worked while they were imprisoned on the island, it was here where Mandela and his fellow prisoners used their time to educate themselves on literature, philosophy, history and current events. - After the tour, guests have an option to either return to the hotel or be dropped off for dinner (on guest s own account) at the V&A Waterfront (The V&A Waterfront is a mall situated on the Atlantic shore, Table Bay Harbour, the City of Cape Town and Table Mountain with a variety of restaurants). - Note that If guests decide to be dropped off at the V&A Waterfront they will have to make their own arrangements to travel back to the hotel. Tip: Sun protection, protective clothing and preventative treatment against seas sickness are advisable. - Tour is subject to weather, ferry schedule and seat availability Children under 12 years pay half price for tours. Whales and Wine Tour - This tour operates during the Whale Season from July to November only. There is no guarantee that Whales will be sighted although guides make every effort to find the best viewing point. - After breakfast, guests will enjoy spectacular views of False Bay from Clarens Drive coastal road. - Visit Hermanus the town famous around the world for its southern right whale watching as well as the Walker Bay surrounding area, the whales can be seen from cliffs in the town centre. The area is regarded as one of the best whale watching spots in the world and if you are lucky to witness any whales, you will have an experience to remember for the rest of your life.

4 - Take the opportunity to join boat-based whale watching (on guest s own account at 52 USD). - Guests will celebrate a fine day of whale watching with wine tasting at Bouchard Finlayson wine estate in the beautiful Hemel en Aarde Valley (Heaven and Earth). The estate is closed on Sundays, but a visit to the cheetah sanctuary will be included instead if time permits. - There is an opportunity to enjoy lunch in the Valley (on guest s own account) or to relax with a cup of tea at a farm stall where you can find natural preserves, jams with a difference, and delicious pastries - Return over Sir Lowry s Mountain Pass and enjoy the views of long white sandy beaches stretching along the False Bay coastline. On a clear day it is possible to see Cape Point. - Children under 12 years pay half price for tours. Day 3: Cape Town City Tour (08:00 14:30) If the Table Mountain cable car is not operating the tour will end at 13:00 Please note that lunch is not included on this tour and there is no lunch stop. However, a packed lunch can be organized from the hotel (on guest s own account) or guests can purchase from the options available en route, or on Table Mountain. - Enjoy breakfast in your hotel and take a scenic coastal drive to view the pristine beaches of Camps Bay, Clifton and Sea Point, past Cape Town Stadium and through the V&A Waterfront to the city centre. - Drive past the Houses of Parliament, City Hall, the Castle (which was declared a historical monument in 1936 and it is considered the best-preserved example of a Dutch East India Company fort), the Slave Lodge social history museum and St Georges Cathedral, before visiting the Company s Garden and Greenmarket Square. - Enter Bo-Kaap, also known as the Malay Quarter and stop to take photos of the brightly painted houses. It is the historical centre of Cape Malay culture in Cape Town. - Join the fascinating Diamond and Tanzanite experience at Jewel Africa. Discover the 2secrets of diamonds, tanzanite and other authentic African treasures. - Witness the firing of the noon gun, a historic time signal in Cape Town since 1806 (except Sundays and public holidays). - Continue to Table Mountain which is now one of the New7Wonders of Nature and South Africa s most famous landmark, it is well known for its flat top which gives it its very unique appearance. It was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in You have the option of admiring the views from the lower cable station or you can purchase your cable car ticket to reach the summit (weather permitting and on own account at 21 USD).

5 - A variety of food and refreshment options are available for purchase, both at the lower cable station or on top of the mountain. After enjoying the spectacular views with your guide, you will be returned to your hotel, or you can stay on top of the mountain and make your own arrangement to return to your hotel. Tip: In the evening, we recommend that you try one of Cape Town s best restaurants; the Pot Luck Club, Beluga, Kloof Street House or Bombay Bicycle Club for an exquisite dinner and a feel for the vibrant culture in the city. You will not regret this. Dinner (Depending on availability) on own account, expect to spend at least R400(31 USD per person) for food and drinks. Day 6: Cape Town to Maun to Okavango Delta - Enjoy breakfast in your hotel before your transfer to Cape Town International Airport for the next part of your journey, you will take a direct flight from Cape Town to Maun in Botswana. - Take a 1 hour flight from Maun to the Okavango Delta - After arrival at camp guests will settle in quickly to their accommodation before meeting their guide for an orientation. A typical day in the Okavango Delta - The day begins with an early morning wake-up call around 05:00 am. - Guests meet their guide and other guests for tea, coffee, rusks and fruits around 05:30 am in the communal area. - At approximately 06:00 am you will depart for the morning activity. - Arrive back at the lodge for your brunch anytime between 09:00 am and 10:00 am.

6 - You will have free time to relax back in your room, explore the different literature in the camp library, visit the curio shop, have a dip in the pool or even engage your guide on the possibility of a mid- morning activity. Around 15:00 pm guests will make their way to the communal area where afternoon tea will be served with a selection of delicious cakes, biscuits and canapes to go with a drink of choice. - After tea, you will leave for the afternoon activity during which you will make a stop to kick back and enjoy a beautiful Botswana sunset with some snacks and a drink of your choice in your hand, there is no better way to really know you are on vacation. - Return to the lodge at approximately 18:30 pm where you will have some time to freshen up before a delicious dinner is served at a designated dining location around 19:30 pm. - After dinner guests are welcome to enjoy some drinks and reflect on an exquisite day on safari. Activities to expect in the Okavango Delta - Morning and night drives (Night drives only available in certain concessions) are offered in open 4*4 vehicles. - View game from the traditional mokoro (dugout canoe), this activity depends on whether you are at a water camp. - Take a boat out to view game, this experience allows you to see things from a different perspective. This activity depends on whether you are at a water camp. - Take a nature walk with a skilled guide for a hair-raising experience in which you get closer to nature than ever before. This is far different to anything you will experience from a vehicle. This activity is only offered at certain camps. - Take to the skies in style and soar over the rich ecosystem of the Okavango Delta in a hot-air balloon, spot as many animals as you can while gazing over scenic splendor. The experience ends with champagne and snacks to celebrate a once in a lifetime experience (This activity is on own account between April and September only and Is only available at select camps). - Take a cultural visit to one of the villages of the Okavango Community Trust to meet the people and learn about the local culture (This activity is only available in certain concessions) - Fishing is on offer seasonally on a catch-and-release basis, there is a limited supply of basic equipment available at camp. - Choose activities as you wish every morning and afternoon, take the night drive as well if you wish to spot the nocturnal animals you don t see in the day. Day 7: Okavango Delta - The day will begin with an early morning wake-up call around 05:00 am. - Guests will meet their guide and other guests for tea, coffee, rusks and fruits around 05:30 am in the communal area. - At approximately 06:00 am you will depart for the morning activity. - Arrive back at the lodge for your brunch anytime between 09:00 am and 10:00 am. - You will have free time to relax back in your room, explore the different literature in the camp library, visit the curio shop, have a dip in the pool or even engage their guide on the possibility of a mid- morning activity. Day 8: Okavango Delta Day 9: Depart Okavango for Maun and then on to Johannesburg - Guests will decide to enjoy one last early morning activity or to wake up later in preparation for their departure. - Guests will enjoy a delicious breakfast before a mid-morning flight from the Okavango to Maun Airport. - Guests will depart Maun Airport for Johannesburg around 14:00 pm and land in Johannesburg around 15:45 pm.
