Meeting in the bush couldn t be more special than at Mabula Game Lodge, with three fully equipped conferencing venues on offer. 2 CONFERENCE FACILITIES Mabula Game Lodge has three air-conditioned conference rooms. The Marula Conference Venue seats up to 60 delegates Cinema-style, 30 U-shape and 50 in a Boardroom configuration. Offering a fixed projector and AV facilities, Marula is 7.16m x 12.6m in size. The largest conferencing venue on offer at Mabula Game Lodge is Kingfisher Conference Venue measuring 22.5m x 10.95m in size and accommodates up to 160 delegates Cinema-style, 70 in a U- shape and 100 in a Boardroom configuration. Kingfisher has its own bathroom facilities. Baobab Conference Room is the smallest of the three venues measuring 1.66m x 10m in size and accommodates up to 40 delegates Cinema-style, 30 in a U-shape and 30 in a Boardroom configuration. 3 MEAL VENUES AND PRIVATE VENUE SURCHARGES Ndlovu Boma Dinner is served in the lodge Boma every second evening, weather permitting. Open air venue in the lodge area. Traditional Tswana Dancers perform around the fire. Capacity: 180 guests. Private venue surcharge applicable. Music only permitted until 23h00 on request. Ko Bojelong Restaurant Breakfast and lunch venue. Music only permitted until 23h00 on request. Capacity: 200 guests. Closed venue situated in the lodge area. Private venue surcharges applicable. Mvubu Restaurant Private venue for dining functions. Surcharge applicable. Walking distance from the Main Lodge. Capacity: 60 guests. Buffet menus only. Music or bands allowed on special request until 23h00. Mabula Traditional Tswana Dancers available to welcome guests only. Lekgtla Bar and Terrace Outside venue. Pub lunches available on the Terrace. Suitable venue for finger lunches or cocktail receptions. Capacity: 60 guests. Only available for semi-private functions for groups on weekdays. Fig Tree Open air venue under a Fig Tree in the bush. 7 ACTIVITIES Day and Night open 4 x 4 Safaris This drive leaves from your camp, depending on availability from your camp, and may go anywhere on our 10,000 hectare reserve. Any of the big 5 may be sighted on this drive and any other requests such as birds and trees will be catered for as far as possible by your Ranger. Winter Safari Times: Apr Sep 06h30-09h30 Morning safari 15h30-18h45 Afternoon safari Summer Safari Times: Oct Mar 05h30-09h30 Morning safari 16h30-18h45 Afternoon safari Guided Bush Walks This 2.5 hour activity leaves from the Main lodge early in the morning. Our guides will take you on a walk around our 10,000 hectare reserve, where they will be focusing on our fauna and flora and some of our big 5 animals. Our guides will be equipped with the necessary equipment (rifle, water, first aid kit). Wear comfortable walking shoes and khaki coloured clothing so you can blend in with the natural environment. No bright colours are allowed. Unfortunately, children under 16 years are not permitted on bush walks. Horseback Safaris / Trail Experience the African bush with our horseback safaris. Our qualified horse trail guides will take you out on our 10,000 hectare reserve where you can experience our animals up close and personal. Our guides will go through all the safety aspects of the trail and will show you all the tricks to be a good rider. It is requested for you to wear long trousers and closed shoes due to the terrain covered by the horse trail. Departure times: Summer: 06h00-09h00-16h00 Winter: 07h00-10h00-15h00 Length of the trail is 2 hours (1.5 hour on the trail, and a half an hour to transfer to the stables and going through all the safety procedures) Eco Adventure Trails (Quad Bike Safaris) Experience the African bush with our quad bike safari. Our qualified guides will take you out on our 10,000 hectare game reserve where you will experience the smaller things found in the bush. Our guides will go through all the safety aspects of the trail. The quad bike trail is a 1.5 hour trail where you spend a half hour on transfers and safety procedures and 1 hour in the bush. We supply the safety gear (helmets) for your trail. Our quad bikes are semi-automatic 250 cc Suzuki bikes, you can either drive manually or in automatic gear. Inflatable run may include Spiderweb, Mountain net climber, Twin tunnel crawler, Obstacle play bed. MURDER MYSTERY DINNER The mystery, suspense and accusations fly as the plot unfolds around you. Delegates are free to decide their level of involvement in this interactive play. CORPORATE CHAOS ms run their own company with an obscure list of tasks which can generate them profits. This simulation becomes about Leadership, prioritisation, methods of delegation, whilst using the strengths and weaknesses of the team. Great fun is had throughout the financial year, despite the auditors. ART OF WAR AIR SOFT MILITARY SIMULATION This is the most realistic military simulation system and is actually used by military forces for training. This is not Charge-and-shoot like paintball, but realistic military situations which at times involve stealth rather than confrontation of enemy forces. Tasks and duties need to be allocated like defending position, scouting, milieu attacking, sniper objectives or bomb disposal, etc.

Go over bridge and turn left at the garage. Follow Thabazimbi road. Follow road past the Forever Resorts Aventura down to the traffic circle. At circle turn left on the Thabazimbi Rooiberg road and proceed along for 34kms. Look out for the Mabula trading store. 500m past the store turn right on Rooiberg tarred road.
