1 Summer programme: Actively experience the summer in Uri The summer in Uri offers so many activities and experiences that it is not always easy to decide what to do. So that you do not miss out on anything, we have put together a selection of the uncountable possibilities. Locals are also invited to rediscover their own canton. Let yourself be inspired and actively enjoy the holiday region of Uri. Please note that German is spoken during all the activities. Would you like to take part in an activity, but do not have time on that date or speak no German? No problem. Many activities take place on extra days or can be booked individually. The team from Uri Tourismus is happy to inform you of the options. Booking Many of the activities can be taken part in spontaneously and without prior booking. 2 Experience the Alps Dive into the life of the Urner alps and experience the nature, history and culture on a range of trips. Mrs Gessler and how she saw Uri Follow Mrs Gessler, who much rather would have preferred to be at the imperial court than in Uri, and find out through gossip more about the people of Uri and their history.
