O and Active Tourism 25th and 26th February Palacio de Congresos Baluarte Pamplona - Navarra - Spain On 25th and 26th February 2016 the 7th INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON RURAL TOURISM will be held, the most important event for the rural tourism sector in Southern Europe. Organised by the Regional Government of Navarra, the Navarra Federation for Rural Tourism, and Ferias de Navarra S.L., the congress is taking place to coincide with the 11th edition of Navartur, the Reyno de Navarra International Tourism Fair, in the Palacio de Congresos Baluarte (Conference Centre) of Pamplona. As in previous years, it will be a meeting point and forum for debate for rural tourism entrepreneurs, interested professionals from both the private and public sector, and rural tourism researchers. With the slogan "COMMITTED TO DIVERSIFICATION: Gastronomic Tourism Km. 0 and Active Tourism", the Programme of the Congress tackles all these themes in plenary sessions and at round tables. Together with social events and optional work visits, this congress is a must for everyone in Europe who is working in Rural Tourism. The programme is divided into 5 sessions: Local product and destination integration experiences Creating icons for attracting visitors Active tourism trends Adventure and mountain sports: Fun as an attraction factor in rural areas Outdoor activities and the growing market of apps for mobiles Director: Luis Cortés, Manager of Navartur, Ferias de Navarra, S.L.
