1 FIRST CONFERENCE ON ACCESSIBLE TOURISM "TOURISM FOR ALL" Belgrade hotel Zira, December 2008 Tourist Club of the Association of Paraplegics and Quadriplegics Danube from Belgrade, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development, Tourist Organization of Serbia and Tourist Organization of Belgrade warmly welcome you to the International Conference on Accessible Tourism to be held in Belgrade on December For the first time in Serbia, we organize the conference with the theme: Accessible Tourism - Tourism for All. The aim of the conference is promotion of accessible tourist destinations, public transport and all forms of travel content as well as increasing profits and improving the general business viability of the actual business on a global and local level. In addition to the conference which will present the latest knowledge and results on accessibility in the field of tourism and with profit, social and human point of view, the event will include three parallel workshops (see themes below), as well as presentation of the best examples of good practice from Europe and the region. As one of the major events in the region in 2008, the Conference on Accessible Tourism wants to gather people in the field of tourism, including ministries, tourist associations, airline companies, representatives of the railway, bus and ship transport companies, tourist agencies, especially those dealing with some of the aspects of health tourism, media, business people who are interested in investing in this area, teachers and professionals who deal with this topic and, of course, representatives of organizations of persons with disabilities. 1
