1 This booklet ctains details of all road closures and parking restrictis across the Edinburgh Marath Festival weekend which takes place 26th & 27th May Please read this informati carefully. Hundreds of runners will be taking part raising mey for many local and natial charities. Please come out and support them as they complete their race. Notice of and Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th May 2018 To the residents and businesses of Edinburgh & East Lothian, Please find enclosed in this booklet details of all road closures and parking restrictis in your area Friday 25th, Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th May The event organisers in associati with City of Edinburgh Council and East Lothian Council have striven to minimise the disruptive impact of the event to allow those directly affected to carry with their daily routine with as little incvenience as possible. Please take note of the informati provided and do not park within these areas during the times stated. Every effort will be made to keep traffic flowing as freely and smoothly as possible. Please note Emergency Service vehicles will not be affected by any of the restrictis. A Quartermile and Laurist access and egress available at all times via Tollcross. Vehicle access available at all times except 8.10am 9.35am and 10.10am 11.30am. B Buccleuch Place: Access, egress and parking the South side via Hope Park Crescent using the residents vehicle pass between: Saturday 6pm 11pm. Sunday 10:30am 7pm. No access between Saturday 11pm Sunday 10.30am. We are unable to allow vehicular traffic Linkfield Road during the race due to public safety ccerns. If you wish to use your vehicle between 08:00 and 18:30 then please park Ashgrove and exit via Pinkie Road. You should expect a higher than normal volume of traffic Pinkie Road so please add extra time to your journey. Please display your Resident Vehicle Pass clearly in your vehicle to park and gain access to Ashgrove throughout the closure period. Assisted vehicle access 11.45am 3.30pm Fishers Rd Fishergate Rd Lg Craigs Links Rd Set Castle B1348 Set Sands B C D Only juncti with right turn to Set Sands In Port Set, vehicle movement alg B1348 (Links Road) is maintained westbound between Lg Craigs (C) and East Lorimer Place (a). There is full access into the Links Road Garage (B) until 11:45 when the first runner will pass this point course. Between 11:45am and 3:30pm when runners are course, access to the Links Road Garage will be limited but access can be provided by race stewards if/when gaps in the runners allow. Eastbound access alg Links Road is maintained between Lg Craigs (C) and Set Sands Holiday Park (D) to facilitate access in and out of the park. There is no eastbound access beyd the park entrance. Please wait at any bus stop the route map above and the bus will take you to the cnecti point at Bankt Terrace, Prestpans where you will be able to use the Lothian Bus network to travel to your desired locati. This service will start at 05:30 and will ctinue at approximately 15 minute intervals until 18:30 or when Lothian Buses normal services resume. Set Links East Bankt Stati West North Prest Alder Access and egress is maintained in this area however we would ask for those driving algside the running lane Sands Road Lorimer Terrace Road Loan Grange grange Road Port to please take extra care when doing so. There will be runners in the area from 08:30 until 13:30. Police may use Caravan Place Avenue Road Set their discreti to temporarily hold traffic at peak running times. Park 18 19
