10 ALTERATION TO PRACTICE BOUNDARY AREA Liberton Medical Group (70376) 65 Liberton Gardens Edinburgh EH16 6JT SUPPORTING STATEMENT FROM PRACTICE We would like to apply to have our boundary area reduced. We have discussed this change in the practice at length and have decided this would be the best option for the practice and for patient safety. We would like to be in a position to accommodate the patients who will be living in the new housing development directly across the road at Liberton Grange as new patients. We anticipate further housing developments within our boundary in the near future and we would like to be well placed to register patients in these developments. To enable us to accommodate this increase density of patients we need to reduce the geographical area we are covering. The practice will not be removing our existing patients who will now live outside the proposed new boundary, we will continue to offer our full services to all these patients.
