The next meeting will be held on 11th October 2016 at 13.30pm at Action Stations, Boldon Lane This is the other half of the library building, and there is a small car park behind the building, and parking is also permitted in the old Clinic car park opposite. Please do not use the library car park. If you have a laptop, tablet, Ipad or smartphone with internet access, please bring them along. Laptops are available for hire in the session at the price of 3. There is a cafe in the building for refreshments. This group will be a self-help group, so we will all be at different levels, and hopefully helping one another and learning together. There is a cafe in the area. Meeting point is outside the Cathedral's main door at 11.15am. Last month s outing update The trip to St Mary s lighthouse was a great success, with 21 members attending a guided tour, conducted by Adam, who explained the history of the island and the origins of the lighthouse. He also gave us details of the varied wildlife to be found in St Mary s Nature reserve, and were lucky enough to seea basking seal, and other seals swimming offshore. A hardy few climbed the 137 steps to the top of the lighthouse, and were rewarded with spectacular views of the North East coast.
