Within this document you will find the following information: A list of local airports and the airlines that fly to them Driving directions to the chateau from each of the local airports. The local airports There are a number of carriers that fly to the region from all over the UK. These are the most convenient airport and approximate traveling times from each: Blagnac airport, Toulouse 50 minutes served by BA and easyjet Pau (Pyrenees) airport 1hr 40 mins served by Ryanair Carcassone airport 1hr 50 mins served by Ryanair Tarbes/Lourdes airport 1hr 50 mins served by Ryanair (ski season only) Bergerac airport 2 hrs served by Flybe

The directions are copied, one for each page, over the following pages so you will only need to print out the directions appropriate to your journey. 3 From Toulouse (Blagnac) airport 50 minutes: From Toulouse airport follow the sign towards Toulouse. After about 1km you will see your first sign for Auch. Keep following the signs for Auch. This will take you off the Toulouse peripherique and onto the N124. Follow the N124 out of Toulouse for 50kms, past Colomiers, through Leguevin, past l Isle Jourdain and through Gimont. Just as you leave Gimont there is a roundabout. Take the third exit in the direction of Saramon on the D12. Follow the D12 for 10kms and you will come to a main crossroads. Turning left would take you to Samatan; straight on, Saramon; and turning right would take you towards Pessan and Auch. Turn right towards Pessan and Auch on the D349. After following the D349 for about 7kms, you drive straight past the Aubiet/Castelnau Barbarens crossroads and continue on this road. There is another turning on the left to Castelnau Barbarens, do not turn here but keep on the same road bearing round to the right. You will pass a white water tower with aerials on the top about 50 metres from the road on your right. You are now on the D626. After another 1km there is a turning to the left. This is the corner of our property. Take the left turning. On the left is an open field, on the right a bank topped with trees. After 100 metres on the right you will see a set of large white gates on a pair of sandstone pillars. This is the main entrance to the chateau. Drive through the gates and follow the avenue of ancient oaks past the vineyard and orchard on the right, and the tennis court with views of the pool and the valley beyond on your left. The avenue then turns left and the chateau is straight in front of you.

4 From Pau (Pyrenees) airport 1hr 40 mins From the airport follow the signs for Tarbes/Toulouse/A64. Stay on the A64 in the direction of Toulouse past Tarbes for 80km. Come off at Junction 16, the Lannemezan exit. After the toll booths take the D929 in the direction of Auch. Follow the D929 for 53km. When driving through the village of Auterive turn right toward the centre of the village. Drive through Auterive, (very small), and out the other side. Drive across a bridge over the Gers river. The road bears round to the left and you will see sign post for Pavie and Pessan. After a further 100m take the Pessan turning on the right and follow this road up hill and down dale for 6.5km. When you arrive in Pessan the Mairie will be straight ahead of you at the T- junction. Turn right in the direction of Samatan and Saramon on the D626. Follow the D626, mainly uphill for 3km. On the left there is a farm called Lartigolle, this is not us. Carry on for a further 100m and on the right is the entrance to Chateau de Lartigolle through a set of large white iron gates on sandstone pillars. 100m up the drive you will see the chateau on your right.

5 From Carcassonne airport 1hr 50 mins: From Carcassonne airport follow the signs towards the A62 (autoroute). Take the A62 in the direction of Toulouse. After about 45 minutes the motorway joins the Toulouse peripherique. Follow the signs for Auch and take the N124 off the peripherique in the direction of Auch. Follow the N124 out of Toulouse for 50kms, past Colomiers, through Leguevin, past l'isle Jourdain and through Gimont. Just as you leave Gimont there is a roundabout. Take the third exit in the direction of Saramon on the D12. Follow the D12 for 10kms ignoring other turnings until you arrive at a main crossroads. Turn right towards Pessan and Auch on the D349. Follow the D349 for about 7kms. You will pass the Aubiet/Castelnau Barbarens crossroads and later, a turning on the left to Castelnau Barbarens. After another 1km the road curves round to the right and on the apex of the curve there is a left hand turning. This is the corner of our property. Take this left. 6 From Tarbes/Lourdes airport 1hr 50 mins: From the airport follow the signs for Tarbes/Toulouse/A64 on the N21. Join the A64 in the direction of Toulouse at Junction 12. Come off the A64 at Junction 16, the Lannemezan exit. After the toll booths take the D929 in the direction of Auch. Follow the D929 for 53km. When driving through the village of Auterive turn right toward the centre of the village. Drive through Auterive, (very small), and out the other side. Drive across a bridge over the Gers river. 7 From Bergerac airport 2 hrs Turn left out of the airport onto the N21 towards Agen. Keep on this road for about 80 km. As you approach Agen you need to avoid the centre and aim to rejoin the N21 on the south side. Look for a left turning at Cours Victor Hugo and immediate right onto the D305 Boulevard Eugéne Pelletan. After less than 1 km turn right onto the N113 Avenue du Docteur Jean Bru. At the end of this road is a roundabout where you can rejoin the N21 in the direction of Auch. Continue for a further 35/40 km through the towns of Lectoure and Fleurance and into Auch. You will come into Auch past an industrial Estate and up to a large roundabout. Continue over the roundabout heading for the centre of Auch. You will pass a Hotel Ibis on the roundabout.. You will still be on the N21. Continue up to a smaller roundabout (usually has lovely flower displays in the middle). You are now in the centre of Auch. Continue straight over the roundabout.. Continue for 1km and then the road splits, keep left. You will come up to a junction, you need to go straight over on to the Rue de 11 novembre D626. After another 1km you will came to a small roundabout, go straight over continuing on the D626. Pessan is signposted. Continue for 5 km and drive through the centre of Pessan. After a further 5km you will be climbing a gentle hill and the road take a couple of turns and you should see the chateau nestled within trees on the right hand side of the road. 30 metres before the main chateau entrance is a turning for Lartigolle Ferme. Don t take this, we are on the right a little further on.
