This is certainly true for most 10Mbps products, as well as older designed products that are available now with better features and hardware support; for example, devices with SFP ports and PoE capability. Discontinued Parts The purpose of this notification is to advise internal and external customers about part numbers within an active product family that have been discontinued due to changing market conditions. So rather than issuing EOL notices for some products within a family, it makes more sense to issue a comprehensive spreadsheet which details product families with only discontinued part numbers. All active part numbers for each product family remain on our website and in our price lists. If in doubt, please contact us directly. Additional Notes: All CWDM fixed fiber products have been discontinued. The attached spreadsheet does not list all CWDM part numbers by product family, because it would make the list long, and to no purpose, due to lack of sales. Many Fast Ethernet and Gigabit CWDM SFPs are still available; our recommendation is to promote the SFP-port version of a product and recommend a CWDM SFP. A selective list of 854-xxxxx part numbers remain active (44 SKUs). The remainder of 854-xxxxx part numbers have been discontinued. These parts are not listed in the price list or on the website. 854-xxxxx part numbers are the counterparts to 855-xxxxx/856-xxxxx/857-xxxx/858-xxxxx products packaged without external power supplies. Note: 855/856/857/858-xxxx products are packaged with an AC external power adapter. Please refer to spreadsheet for the active 854-xxxxx parts.
