Tickets: $ The Forks MORNING SESSION: THURSDAY 14 SEPTEMBER The Forks Market The Forks is a historic meeting place and downtown green space located at the confluence of the Red River and Assiniboine River. For most of the last century the site was an urban rail yard, but today it is Winnipeg s number one tourist destination with more than four million visitors annually. Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 256 Smith Street The dramatic church was built in 1883 as a result of Winnipeg first architectural design competition. Construction has begun on a new addition, the Inuit Art Centre. 7:00pm 10x20x20 Petcha Kutcha - Collaboration with Winnipeg Design Festival At this Pecha Kucha event, ten speakers present 20 slides, giving 20 seconds to each slide, to bring the local design community together to share ideas, projects, and design in a fun and informative social setting.
