3 WELCOME TO ALUMAPALOOZA 5, THE AIRSTREAM FACTORY, & the town of JACKSON CENTER, OHIO! You re going to have a great week, and a busy one! Use this guide to plan your fun. WHERE IS EVERYTHING? We have three main areas for activities. The is the big one, where most of the seminars and Happy Hours are held. The Vendor Tent is next to it, and is also used for Registration. The Activities Tent is on the north side of the field, and you ll find daily yoga, the SkyMed Happy Hour, and a few seminars in there as well. FEATURED EVENTS AIRSTREAM FACTORY TOURS Airstream will be offering daily tours of the factory (twice a day on Thursday and Friday). Register at the Service Center. Closed-toe shoes are required, and you should plan to walk about 3/4 of a mile. Production is shut down during the Friday tour. This means there s less to see, but also it s quieter so you can hear the tour guide more easily. OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES Every morning there will be yoga in the Activity Tent, led by Ruby Smith. This class is always popular, so please arrive minutes early! Wear comfortable clothing (dressing for the weather) and bring either yoga mat or a large towel, so you can practice yoga, breathe, and stretch. An easy self-guided bicycle ride around Jackson Center and Shelby County is on the program. You can go with the group at scheduled times, or anytime you want by yourself. On Saturday morning you can join the Tiger Trot annual 5K and 1K fun runs, held at the Jackson Center High School. To register at the event, show up by 8:00 AM. ALUMAPALOOZA SURVIVAL GUIDE 1

4 ROVING HAPPY HOUR Roving Happy Hour now includes a contest! Visit as many Roving Happy Hours as you can to collect tokens. The people with the most tokens will be entered into a special prize drawing. Never done it before? Here s how Roving Happy Hour works: At the 4 PM announcements (under the main tent, where we give away the door prizes every day), we ll have flags and tokens to hand out. If you want to host a Happy Hour at your trailer at 5 PM, just pick up a flag and stick it in the ground near your awning. Anyone who wants to join your Happy Hour is welcome when the flag is flying. You can provide food and drink, or nothing at all it s up to you. Give each visitor a token so they can prove they ve visited. The next day, we ll collect all the flags and leftover tokens and hand them out to a new group of Airstreamers. BACKUP DERBY Show off your skill at backing up a trailer! We ll supply an Airstream trailer, a truck, and an obstacle course made of traffic cones. You ll need a team of two: one person to drive and the other to give instructions over a radio. Sign up in advance in the and get ready for some hilarious fun. Backup Derby and other events at Alumapalooza 5 are generously sponsored by Awnings By Zip-Dee, Inc. Check out the new Relax 12v Automatic Awning at 2 ALUMAPALOOZA SURVIVAL GUIDE
