SUMMER 2017 PROGRAM INFORMATION Camp Begins: June 19, 2017 Camp Hours: Camp Track: Weekly Field Trips and Special Activities: Cost: 8:45am-3:30pm 8:00am-4:30pm (extended care option for $10/day) A special Camp fitness track is available with an emphasis on personal physical growth. Campers will learn the fundamentals of sports such as basketball, gymnastics, baseball, softball, soccer, and more. The Camp track is for the athlete in your family of any age who is open to good-natured competition while gaining leadership and team-building experience. The weekly themes will be embedded within the Camp track. Each Wednesday, campers take a fun-filled, enriching journey to some of the best field trip locations in Los Angeles for no extra charge. Throughout the week, campers cool off with our many water games and activities, including the mega inflatable waterslides! Special guests arrive regularly as well to dazzle and delight the campers! $380 per week - 50% due at registration and the balance due June 1, Full payment is required for all registrations after June 10th. EARLY BIRD SPECIAL: $355 per week paid in full until March 31st. $250 per week for half days (noon departure, or noon arrival) $100 for single days *Note: some classes require a materials fee which we ll bill, if applicable. Board Game Show Mania What s Cooking? Encounters of Olympics Arts & Crafts/Sculpture: Campers will work with clay, wire, papier mache and other materials, exploring various artistic techniques. The emphasis will be on the creative process and having fun! Computers/Robotics/3D Printing: Technology offers us multiple ways to learn and be creative. If you like gadgets, these are the classes for you! Classes: enrichment offers games that cover basic concepts and keeps the mind engaged throughout the summer. enrichment reinforces reading comprehension and fluency. and More Make a Splash: and /Cooking: We have a modified working kitchen on campus to serve up a variety of delectable treats, hot and cold. Learn cooking basics and enjoy both the sweet and the savory concoctions! Monster Biology: Monsters aren t scary when you see them through a scientific lens. Compare and contrast monster myths from around the world while uncovering the real life science behind famous creaturs such as Cyclops, Frankenstein, and more! Yoga: Become a skilled yoga practitioner while learning safe stretching techniques in a relaxing environment.
