It cannot be treated as a protection against rain, snow or wind. Awning covers are made of acrylic, solution dyed fabric, additionally coated with Teflon protective layer, which ensures their long life (fade resistant). Light transmission level depends on the fabric that is being used. Awnings are designed to operate in temperatures ranging from 0 C to +65 C. Awning motor s operation time cannot be exceed to more than 4 minutes. In case of using electromechanical drive it is recommended to use a wind/sun sensor. Do not stand under the awning when opening or closing it. Do not place any objects on awning s arms and cover. To avoid damage to the fabric, it is recommended to ensure that the fabric is clean and dry before closing the awning. Do not make any personal repairs and modifications of awning s mechanisms and construction. In case of awning s malfunction, please contact it`s manufacturer. In case of awning s suspension system failure, secure the awning in a position until the arrival of the service team. Balcony awnings 17 CADUTA 17 ITALIA 18 Additional equipment 19 General installation recommendations Due to the nature of the product (large size and heavy weight), the awning installation, adjustments and testing should be carried out by properly trained installation team. The awning can be mounted to the building as a whole piece (up to 6.5 m of width), or in parts, depending on it`s size and construction conditions. Fixing of the awning requires anchors or other fasteners of a minimum durability of 70 N/1 m. Awning should be mounted at such height, that after opening it, it`s lower part is situated at least 2.2 m above the ground. Above recommendations are provided for BN 25 concrete base. 3 TERRACE AWNINGS Fabrics straight from the sunny Italy Company Vertex S.A. cooperates with the italian fabric manufacturer PARA, thanks to that, our fabrics are most of all characterized by a high quality. In our collectionn You can find PARA S fabrics called Tempotest that are perfectly suited for outdoor use. Fabrics are covered with the 7-years manufacturer warranty. Advantages of the Tempotest fabrics Resistant to a colour fade Power of the sun can change the colour of even durable pigments, but thanks to PARA S solutions, Tempotest fabrics are fade resistant for long years, it is confirmed by 7-years warranty. Resistant to stains During the awning use sometimes it is easy to cause accidential contamination. Now its unnecessary to be worried about it, because the Tempotest fabrics are oil, soil, salt resistant and they don t absorb water or the other liquids, so the stains don`t come up. Resistant to a fungus Each fabric placed outside is exposed to adverse weather conditions, mould and fungi. Tempotest is the possible solution - the fabric is resistant to fungi. Terrace awnings are covered by 7 years guarantee. Guarantee is valid on the condition of maintaining the awning by authorized partners of Vertex S.A. at least once a year. Breathable An important feature of Tempotest fabrics is their air permeability. Therefore, the materials breathe and don t impede the air exchange on the area of terrace or balcony. They dry faster and keep a long durability.

Awning Blanca is dedicated to shade balcony surfaces or smaller terraces. Can be mounted both to wall or ceiling. Weather sensor It is recommended to integrate the electric drive with the weather sensor, which optimizes usage of the awning even if there is no one at home. Thus, in the hot afternoon the awning will open, providing a balcony or terrace with a nice shade and at the same time- cooling the appartment. Printed awnings On the special request we make awnings with overprints. Base on information provided by the client, we prepare a project of visualization. Realization time is up to 2 working weeks from the moment of the acceptance of the project by the client. The project is transferred to the fabric using special thermo - print technique, which guarantees a high quality and durability of the transferred graphics for many years. 11 WARRANTY 1. Vertex S.A., hereinafter referred to as the Guarantor, guarantees a good quality and proper operation of a new product in accordance with the standards set for a specified product type, subject to the intended use in normal conditions. 2. During receipt of the product at the Guarantor s headquarters or on the date of product s delivery the Buyer is obliged to check product s packaging for any damages, as well as the product s completeness in accordance with the order, on pain of loosing the right to question the quality and completeness of the delivery. 3. The Guarantor s warranty is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of sale. The basis of the complaint comprise jointly: 3.1. Proof of purchase with a date of sale of the faulty product Installation execution according to the instructions set out in the price list and in manufacturer s (Vertex S.A.) installation instructions. 4. In case of proper submission of the complaint by the Buyer, the Guarantor agrees to: 4.1. Consider the validity of the complaint within the statutory time limit Remove defects if the complaint is valid Replace the product with the one that is free from defects in case of being unable to remove the defects In case of replacement of the defective product or defective parts with the new ones, the Buyer is obliged to return the subject matter of a complaint to the Guarantor. 5. Defects discovered during the warranty period will be removed by the Guarantor as soon as possible, however the free of charge repair or replacement of the faulty product will be preceded by an expertise of the damage on the basis of which the Guarantor shall decide if the complaint is valid. The Guarantor s liability does not cover the costs of disassembly of the defective product and the costs of transporting the product to its manufacturer, as well as the costs of the transport back and re installation, which are borne by the Buyer in full. 6. Should the quality complaint be recognized as valid, the Guarantor agrees to reimburse the amount paid for transportation, after presenting relevant documents confirming the price by the Buyer, as well as to return the product to the Buyer on their return address at the Guarantor s own expense. 7. The Guarantor is not liable for: 7.1. The Buyer or the third parties using modifications not made or not authorized by the manufacturer Vertex S.A Damages of the packaging or the product itself that were not reported on the date of the receipt of the product Mechanical damages or damages resulting from improper or negligent installation, usage or storage, overloading, usage in improper conditions or improper electrical wiring Random events occurring after the receipt of the product, in particular due to adverse weather conditions, electromagnetic interference, electric discharges and power surges in supply network Using non-original materials or accessories Failure to follow the recommendations set forth in the price list and manufacturer s (Vertex S.A.) installation instructions. Usage inconsistent with the instructions The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of original elements, parts and accessories caused by their normal operation. 8. In case of rejection of the complaint as a result of an inspection conducted by the Guarantor, the costs of the inspection and returning the product shall be borne by the Buyer The negative complaint recognition may be appealed by the Buyer to the Guarantor in writing Appeal deadline, referred to in Section 7.1, is 7 days from the date of notifying the Buyer by the Guarantor about the outcome of the inspection. 9.
