THE BRIEF Lean. Quantum 3 is lean with only nine Aluminium profiles. Grid 40 is used in day-to-day applications like guards, furniture, partitions and standard frames with grid 50 mainly utilized for heavy machine frames and structural applications. Grid 40 Grid 50 Simple. Quantum 3 is simple with one T-nut size fitting all profiles. The 14 mm wide groove allows Allen key access to the screws of the connectors and to actually tighten them without the need of special tools. The spring ensures that the T-nut can be inserted at any stage of the assembly process and will stay in position. 8

Additionally all profile outside radii were kept small to achieve a pleasing aesthetic design which also guarantees no gap between profiles when put together. Strong. Quantum 3 is strong with threads cold formed into profile bars instead of cut. Cold-formed threads are widely recognised to be superior to cut threads. The process is over 100 years old and the advantages are clear, no swarf, increased tool life and stronger threads through homogeneous material distribution. 10 Economical and easy to use. Quantum 3 is economical and easy to use with one dedicated connector pro grid size. This makes it easy for the designer and the fitter. No big question marks or considerations which connector to use or what the application is. The design of the connector allows moving profile bars into their final position at the end of the assembly process. Versatile. Quantum 3 is versatile due to the easy to fit slot cover. The hard PVC slot cover provides an economical solution to make up any closed profile. By just stocking PAS 40 and PPC 14 you can generate 4 different profiles. 10
