We have several trips throughout the summer and fall that will appeal to a variety of people. So sit back, read the trip agendas, call your friends, and pick the trips that are right for you! Please be sure to read all the information carefully. Pay special attention to registration guidelines, payment due dates, and our refund policy. 1. ALL day trip registrations will be on a first come-first serve basis. If we do not have a minimum number of people register, and pay by the registration deadlines we will cancel the trip and all money will be refunded. (See refund policy) 2. The bus trips will be limited to 34 participants. All area adults age 21 & older (unless otherwise indicated) are eligible to participate. 3. PAYMENT POLICY: You MUST pay at the time of registration. Registration dates are listed with each trip description and on each registration form. Gratuity for the bus driver is included in all trip fees. Please mark the registration schedule on your calendar. 4. Payments for each trip are due to the Town Clerk at the time of registration. Please make checks payable to TOWN OF MARCELLUS.
2 5. Once you have registered for a trip the office staff WILL NOT be making any phone calls or follow up unless there are changes to the trip. It is your responsibility to remember dates and times. 6. If we receive 34 registrations for a trip we will start a waiting list. If someone cancels on a trip, we will call our waiting list in numbered order. If you are on a waiting list and we cannot reach you, we will call through the complete list. 7. As in the past, bus seating on all One Day Trips will be based on a first come/first seat basis. The first two seats are always reserved for the escorts; the two seats behind the driver are always reserved for the physically impaired participants. 8. All trips will leave from the Municipal Village Parking Lot next to St. Francis Catholic Church on South Street. 9. On some trips that depart after 8:30 a.m. We will probably not have a breakfast stop. You may bring your own snacks on any of our trips. This is strongly suggested for any individuals that need food or drink for medication. 10. Bus departure times and return times are listed with each trip description. Please be sure to mark these times on your calendar and arrive on time for the bus departure. 11. We reserve the right to make changes as necessary due to increase in food and or gas prices. 12. Please remember we do visit places that may have a dress code, please dress appropriately. REFUND POLICY IF THE TOWN CANCELS A TRIP: We will refund all money if we have to cancel a trip. You will be required to sign a voucher to be submitted to the Town. Please allow at least thirty days to process the voucher and return your money. IF YOU CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION: If you cancel your reservation on a confirmed trip, you will only receive a full refund if a substitute can be found. We will make every effort to find a replacement by calling our waiting list, however, if a replacement cannot be found a refund will be decided at the discretion of the Recreation Director. Please expect that you will not receive a full refund.

Overnight Trip to Brandywine Valley Pennslyvania Tuesday September 18-Thursday September 20, 2018 We have arranged for an exciting fall adventure to the historic Brandywine Valley in southeastern PA. Some of the sights we will see include; a guided tour of Winterthur gardens and museum, dinners at Brandywine Prime at Chadds Ford Inn and Mendenhall Inn, a visit to Longwood Gardens, a QVC studio Tour and much more! Call or stop into to the office for a registration packet and more information about this trip. Deadline to register and $150 deposit due May 18 th. BINGO at the Turning Stone Casino in Oneida, NY Please keep this list and mark your calendars with registration dates. If you cannot make it into the Recreation Office for the registration days you may mail your form and check. Our bus leaves at 8:30 a.m. and returns approximately 5:00 p.m. You will receive $15.00 in Bingo Bucks to use as you choose, and a $5 meal coupon. A Gambling Package is available for those individuals who do not want to play Bingo. The bus will depart from the Village Municipal Parking Lot behind St. Francis Catholic Church. 4 Historic Binghamton Wednesday June 13, 2018 Cost: $70/person Registration Begins: March 12, 2018 Registration Deadline: May 1, 2018 Departure Time: 8:30am Return Time: Approximately 5:00 pm This morning enjoy a candle making demonstration at Windy Hill Farms Candle Factory. They have been making the highest quality candles and selling direct to the public since They have direct control over the quality and inventory of the candles and they assure you of the quality, low prices and prompt delivery. They opened Candy Land in 2005 offering hard to find candies at both wholesale and retail prices. Enjoy lunch included today (see lunch choices below) at Little Venice Restaurant the home of Binghamton s oldest Italian eatery. Since 1946, Little Venice Restaurant has been serving authentic Italian dishes. Little Venice prides itself on its original family recipes, specializing in homemade pasta, a variety of Italian and American entrees and most notably their famous pasta sauce. The sauce recipe is a guarded family secret known to only 3 people. After lunch enjoy a driving tour of Binghamton, where you will take in the history and architecture of Downtown and Riversides Drive s beautiful mansions. We will make a stop along the way to Carousel Recreation Park to take a ride on Herschell Carousel. Our final stop today will be a visit at Animal Adventure Park- home of April the giraffe! A unique interactive educational animal park. Designed to allow one of kind encounters! Exhibits allow guests to get hands on, rub noses, and feet of our cute, but less cuddly, carnivores! 5 Saratoga Race Track Wednesday August 15, 2018 Cost: $45/person Registration Begins: March 12, 2018 Registration Deadline: June 15, 2018 Departure Time: 7:30 am Return Time: Approximately 9:00 pm We are very excited to be returning to Thoroughbred racing at Saratoga Race Track. This is a very inexpensive all on your own trip. We will leave at 7:30 am with a quick coffee stop on the Thruway. You pay for own admission fee when we arrive. The Grandstand is $6.00 or Club House $9.00. Bet on some races, enjoy a mint julep or just take in the sights and sounds of the historic race track! There is also a daily walking tour option for an additional $3. You will explore the more than 150 years of history within Saratoga Race Course. Ever wonder why they ring a bell at 17 minutes to post or why there is a canoe in the lake in the infield? Take a guided tour to find out the answer to these questions and more. Tours are scheduled on the hour starting at 9:30am -2:30 pm each racing day. Post time is 1:00pm. You are on your own to choose from the many track options for lunch. Enjoy dining at The Turf Terrace, The Porch or The Easy Goer to name a few (there is a dress code for most of the restaurants that include a collared shirt for men and no shorts or flip flops for everyone). Some of the restaurants have limited availability so you may want to call ahead for reservations. There is also a lengthy list of concession vendors for a more casual option. 6 Fall Foliage Featuring Mt. Morris Dam & Letchworth State Park Wednesday October 10, 2018 Cost $65/person Registration Begins: March 12, 2018 Registration Deadline: August 31, 2018 Departure Time: 7:00 am Return Time: Approximately 7:00 pm Enjoy a Ranger led walking tour/walk of The Mount Morris Dam is the largest dam of its type in the eastern United States. (Those not wanting to take the walking tour may stay in the visitor center) It is huge! The dam measures over 1000 feet across and almost 250 feet high. The Mount Morris Dam was built in the early 1950 s to protect the lower portion of Rochester and rural areas south of the city from flooding. After the tour we will depart for lunch at the Glen Iris Inn, located in beautiful Letchworth State Park. Formerly the Country Estate of William Pryor Letchworth, overlooking the magnificent Middle Falls on the Genesee River. (Please select lunch choice below) After lunch take a guided bus tour of Letchworth State Park. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Dam, Gorge and other scenic locations. On the way home we will make a stop at the unique Abbey of the Genesee, home of the Cistercian Monks. Visit the grounds and bakery, where 5 varieties of Monks Bread are produced.
