2 June 7, June 30, 2018 Theater Gallery JUNE ARTIST RECEPTION/Show The Theater Gallery 756 Plumas Street Yuba City, CA :00 PM - 05:00 PM PST Rosalynd Bliss, rozjb@comcast.net The Theater Gallery in Yuba City will feature the vibrant paintings of guest artist MICHAEL PASQUALE in the month of June. The exhibit will be in the newly-remodeled art gallery, 756 Plumas Street in downtown Yuba City. Also on view are works by the gallery s six resident artists. Don t miss our hosted Artist Reception on Thursday, June 7, from 5-7 pm with complimentary refreshments. Admission to our art gallery is always free, and we display a new exhibit every month. We are located adjacent to the Sutter Theater and are open Wednesday through Saturday from 12-5 pm. Regional artist MICHAEL PASQUALE has been a contractor for several years and is the current President of the Board of Trustees for Yuba Community College. With a background in art, he creates bold, vivid paintings in his home studio. He often uses pearls and translucent pieces in colorful acrylic abstracts, giving them a tactile quality. Another artistic endeavor is making paintings on glass, where the paint is actually the substrate, and peeling it creates the design. Always looking for something new to try, Michael is presently taking a class on encaustic wax painting which allows for depth and texture in two-dimensional painting. Come and enjoy this fantastic show at The Theater Gallery in June! The Theater Gallery is open every week, Wednesday through Saturday, from noon to 5:00 p.m. Come in and enter the drawing to win a jewelry piece each month. An Artist Reception is held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm usually on the first Thursday of every month, complete with complimentary refreshments. Proceeds from The Theater Gallery benefit the Sutter Performing Arts Association s effort to renovate the Sutter Theater, turning it into a viable community center. For more information, please visit our website at: or follow The Theater Gallery on Facebook.
