TBUT from Auto 1297 Trevilian Joe Creason Park Victim reports suspect used force on the passenger side window to gain entry. Suspect removed the victim s purse along with personal items. Suspect later used the victim s credit cards. TBUT from Auto Sherman Ave Victim reports unknown suspect stole his KY license plate from vehicle. KY Plate 887EGZ TBUT from Auto 1051 Parkway (rear) Victim reports unknown suspect stole his KY license plate from the vehicle. KY Plate 214LNV No TBUT Auto this reporting period! Division 6 Beat 2 Burg Block of Quail Hollow Road Victim reports entry was gained by unknown means. Suspect removed clothing, tennis shoes, TVs, gaming system, games, Blu Ray player, Blu Ray movies, and ipad. Burg Block of Celina Drive Victim reports entry was gained by breaking out the rear window. Suspect removed game system and jewelry. Burg Block of Melda Lane- Victim reports being home alone and then hearing someone else enter the residence. Victim encountered known suspect. Victim told the suspect to get out. Suspect fled in a Chevy Blazer and the victim was unable to get a license plate. Roommate of victim owes suspect a small amount of money. Nothing was removed from the residence. Burg Preston Mattress Center- Business employee reports entry was gained by breaking out an office window. Suspect removed a TV, Acer laptop, ipad3, game system, games, printer, AM/FM radio, and a backpack.

3 Robbery 5012 Quail Court- Victim reports two unknown suspects forced entry into the apartment. Victim locked the bathroom door while the suspect removed a game system and shoes. No TBUT from Auto this reporting period! No TBUT Auto this reporting period! Division 6 Beat 3 Burg Newburg Uspiritus Salem Campus Church member reported entry was gained by force to the rear door. Suspect removed microphones and professional mixer. Burg Block of Pruitt Court Victim reports entry was gained by force to the rear door. Both foot prints and pry marks located on the door. Suspect removed a firearm, TV, and HP Notebook. Robbery Goldsmith Lane Victim reports getting off TARC at the intersection of Goldsmith and Bardstown Road. Suspect approached him and displayed a handgun. Suspect demanded cash, once it was received the suspect fled on foot towards Belmont. TBUT from Auto 3509 Capri Drive Victim reports vehicle parked in the driveway when he came home the night before. In the morning victim noticed carpenters tools had been stolen. Tools were located in the unlocked bed of the truck. Truck was backed into the driveway up against the garage. No TBUT Auto this reporting period! Division 6 Beat 4 Burg Block of Bannon Crossing Victim reports entry was gained by unknown means. Suspect was observed on surveillance video rummaging through cabinets and drawers. Nothing was removed from the home. No Robberies this reporting period! TBUT from Auto 4106 Stony Ridge Road- Victim reports entry was gained by breaking out a window. Suspect removed CD player, speakers, and amplifier. TBUT from Auto 6301 Poplar Tree Court Victim reports entry was gained by breaking out a window. Suspect removed rims with tires, hand tools, breaker bar, and jumper cables.

4 TBUT from Auto Nachand Lane Victim reports vehicle was parked in the driveway unlocked. Suspect removed ipad and duffle bag. TBUT Auto 8408 Ambrosse Lane- Victim reports known suspect stole her vehicle. Victim and suspect were previously in a relationship. Division 6 Beat 5 Burg Block of Hawkshed Lane Victim reports force was used to gain entry into the garage. Once inside the suspect rummaged thought the vehicle and removed a roadside assistance kit. No Robberies this reporting period! TBUT from Auto Sourwood Court- Victim reports both vehicles in the driveway had been rummaged through. Both vehicles were accidentally left unlocked. Suspect seemed to enter both but stole nothing. TBUT from Auto Bardstown Road- Victim reports leaving the vehicle unlocked while moving furniture to the apartment. Suspect removed the victim s medication. TBUT Auto 4217 Wallingford Lane- Victim left the vehicle running with the keys to warm up. When victim returned the vehicle was gone. No new cases have been cleared during this reporting period.

5 Attention: Your home is a place of comfort and sanctuary. When your home is violated by a criminal, it can be a very traumatic experience. Here are a few simple tips that may help you prevent becoming a victim. Things to remember: When leaving home, make sure that all doors and windows are locked including the garage door. Do not keep items of value easily visible through your windows. Do not keep garage door openers in unoccupied cars outside of your residence. If you see suspicious cars or people, take down their description and license plate numbers. If a crime has been committed this can help the police solve the crime. You are the best person to know if something is out of place. There is safety in numbers. Get to know your neighbors. Watch out for them and have them do the same for you. Check the locks on your doors and windows. If possible, install a deadbolt lock on your doors. Make it as difficult as possible for the criminal to get inside. If you are outside of your home, even when doing yard work keep your home secure. Burglars are often in and out of a home in a few minutes. Check and install adequate lighting around your home. This will improve both your home s security as well as your personal safety. Trim bushes and trees away from windows. Burglars may use these as a hiding spot while they break into your home. Be cautious of allowing strangers into your home. If they say they are with an organization, ask for identification from their employer. Do not keep hidden keys around the outside of your home. Many of these hiding spaces are common and criminals know where to look. Do not carry valuable items into your home in plain view. Do not leave boxes or packaging outside. You never know who might be watching. If you are going on vacation, be cautious who you tell your plans to. Do not leave a message on your answering machine advertising your absence to criminals. If you are going to be gone overnight leave a light on. Timers work well to turn lights on and off. Have a trusted neighbor watch your home for you. Keep photographs of valuable property such as jewelry for later identification and to aid you in your inventory. Mark your property with a personalized identification number unique to you. There s no way to cover all the features in this space, but did you know Quickfind - On the homepage, you can enter your address in MetroCall 311 s Quickfind and find your junk set out dates, garbage day, yard waste day, your council district, your police district and beat number & fire district. Once you know your police district and beat number, you can go to the Metro Police website and click on their new crime map section where you can map crime around your address and subscribe to crime notifications. If you click on the MapIt area in Quickfind, you can map city services and locations on a map, from driver licenses and county clerk locations to animal adoption locations to health clinics and much more. Below MapIt, you can start and track an online service request with MetroCall or live chat with MetroCall customer service during normal business hours. You can see how your government is spending your money. Use the city s search engine to search for transparency.
