2 COMPSTAT Beat Priorities Reporting Date: From to COMPSTAT REPORT # 42 Division 6 Beat 1 Burg-2900 Block of Pindell Ave-victim reported that an unknown suspect gained entry into his home through a rear window. Once inside the suspect removed the listed property *(1) Dell Desk Top Computer & Monitor, (1) Acer Laptop Computer, (1) Samsung Cellphone, some assorted jewelry and some loose change Burg-3300 Block of Illinois Ave-victim stated that her son gained entry to her home by breaking a rear window. Once inside the suspect removed the listed property *(1) Fender Electric Guitar and (1) HP Laptop Computer. The victim advised that she located the listed guitar at a pawn shop on 4 th Street Robbery-1500 Block of Cardinal Dr-victim advised that the listed suspect pulled a handgun on her and robbed her of *some money. The suspect was later apprehended by officers. Arrested Bradford A McKeehan W/M 08/25/1988 this suspect was involved in several car break-ins in the area detectives also discovered that TBUT FM Auto-900 Block of Ardmore Dr-victim stated that his vehicle had been broken into and the listed items were taken *(1) Radio Shack Radar Detector, (1) Apple IPOD and (1) Pair of Oakley Sunglasses. The listed suspect was Arrested Bradford A McKeehan W/M 08/25/1988 TBUT FM Auto-in the area of Greenup Rd/Hess Ln-victim stated that an unknown suspect gained entry into her vehicle by breaking out the passenger s side window. Once inside the suspect removed the listed property *(1) Purse, some personal papers, (1) cellphone charger, (1) spare car key and (1) spare house key TBUT FM Auto-1100 Trevilian Way-@ The Zoo-victim advised that an unknown suspect gained entry into her vehicle by breaking out the rear driver s side vehicle. Once inside the suspect removed the listed property *(1) Purse, some keys, (3) gift cards and (1) checkbook

3 TBUT FM Auto-1800 Block of Lincoln Ave-victim stated that an unknown suspect gained entry into his vehicle by breaking out the passenger s side window. Once inside the suspect removed the listed property *(1) Brown Buddha Purse TBUT Parts FM Auto-1200 Block of Belmar Dr-victim stated that an unknown suspect took the listed items from her vehicle *(4) Hubcaps from her vehicle Division 6 Beat 2 Burg-4408 Shady Villa Dr-victim stated that an unknown suspect(s) gained entry into her apartment by unknown means. Once inside the suspect(s) removed the listed property *(1) Samsung Galaxy Tablet Burg-5500 Block of Mildenhall Way-victim stated that an unknown suspect(s) gained entry into her apartment through a rear door. Once inside the suspect(s) removed the listed items *(1) Panasonic 37 LCD TV, (1) Samsung 42 LCD TV, (1) Acer laptop computer and (1) Boost mobile cellphone Robbery-5400 Warwickshire Dr-victim stated that two unknown suspects forced their way into his apartment at gunpoint. The victim advised that the B/M suspect held him at gunpoint while the W/F suspect searched through his apartment. Both suspects fled the victim s apartment when the victim s roommate awoke. The victim reported that the suspects stole the listed *(1) Samsung Galaxy cellphone and some money Robbery-in the area of Gilmore Ln/Poplar Level Rd-@ Speedway-both victim #1 and victim #2 advised that an unknown B/M suspect approached them and asked for money. When the victims refused the suspect pulled a small handgun on them and demanded their *money TBUT-911 Grade Ln-@ UPS-Reporting Party stated that an employee admitted to stealing the listed property from this location *(6) Apple IPhone 5s TBUT-4800 Block of Warbler Way-victim stated that her son gained entry into her locked bedroom door and removed *several piece of jewelry. The victim s son pawned some of the jewelry at Cash America Pawn TBUT Auto-4010 E Indian Trail-@ SAMS Cleaners-victim advised that she left her vehicle *a 2006 Saturn Vue/Black KY (913AZN) running outside this location. The listed suspect took the victim s vehicle and drove off. Arrested Gary Lamont Long B/M 03/05/1973 TBUT FM Auto-750 Grade Ln-@ UPS-victim stated that an unknown suspect gained entry into his unlocked vehicle and removed the listed property *(1) Apple IPAD and some cash

4 Division 6 Beat 3 Burg-2107 Little Creek Ct-victim arrived home and discovered that the front door to her apartment was unlocked. The victim stated that an unknown suspect gained entry by unknown means and removed the listed items *(1) food stamp application, (1) social security card, some adoption papers, (1) birth certificate, (1) passport, (1) visa and some immigration paperwork Burg-3430 Newburg Rd-@ Family Practice Center-Reporting Party advised that an unknown suspect gained entry into the International Café in the Medical building. Once inside the suspect removed the listed property *(1) Samsung Laptop Computer, (4) extended battery cases for IPhone 5s and some cash from the register & tip jar ATT Robbery-5500 Block of Ripple Ln-victim advised that an unknown B/F suspect came to his home and attempted to rob him of his *IPhone. The suspect pulled a BB gun on the victim and ordered him to the bathroom. The victim was able to wrestle the BB gun away from the suspect and chased her away Robbery-2149 Goldsmith Ln-victim stated that he was held at gunpoint and robbed of the listed property *(1) Android Cellphone, (1) shaving bag w/toiletries, (1) wallet and some money. After further investigating detectives were able to make an arrest of the listed suspects; William Andrew Veith W/M 08/24/1993 and Chandler Ryan Maze W/M 06/04/1993 No TBUT Autos to report during this week! TBUT Parts FM Auto-1501 Gardiner Ln-@ Cross Motors-Reporting Party stated that a known suspect removed the listed items from the listed vehicle *(4) wheels and tires from a 2006 BMW 650/Grey

5 Division 6 Beat 4 Burg-8000 Block of Watterson Trail-victim advised that an unknown suspect(s) gained entry into her home by prying open the rear door. Once inside the suspect(s) removed the listed property *(1) Masonic watch, some miscellaneous costume jewelry and (2) pocket watches Burg-200 Block of Bonnie Ln-victim believes that her son and daughter in-law gained entry into her home through an unlocked side bedroom window. Once inside the suspects removed the listed property from the victim s home *(1) XBOX 360, (1) Nintendo Wii, and (45) video games Robbery-7021 Bronner Circle-victim advised that he heard a knock at his apartment door. When he went to answer the door, three unknown suspects pushed their way inside. Once inside one of the suspects pulled a handgun on the victim and demanded money. The victim reports that the suspects removed the listed property from his apartment *(1) Vizio 42 LCD TV, (1) Apple IPhone 4S, (1) car CD/DVD stereo and some money Robbery-5252 Bardstown Rd-@ Peddler s Mall-victim stated that the listed suspect was attempting to break into her vehicle. When the victim confronted the suspect the suspect threw her across the parking lot. The suspect had removed the victim s *shoes from her vehicle. The listed suspect was placed under arrest Todd L Rhodes W/M 03/15/1989 TBUT Auto-7000 Block of Bronner Circle-victim stated that an unknown suspect stole his *2007 Honda Motorcycle/Silver KY (07235R) from the parking lot. The victim s motorcycle was later recovered in the LMPD tow lot TBUT FM Auto-3500 Block of Kirby Ln-victim stated that an unknown suspect(s) gained entry into her vehicle by unknown means. The victim reports that the listed items were taken from her vehicle *(1) purse, (1) wallet, (1) personal check and some medication TBUT FM Auto-7300 Block of Orchard Lake Blvd-victim advised that an unknown suspect gained entry into her unlocked vehicle and removed the listed property *some money. The victim s vehicle was parked in the driveway during the time of the incident TBUT FM Auto-4000 Block of Heatherview Rd-victim stated that an unknown suspect gained entry into her vehicle by unknown means and removed the listed item *(1) spare car key

The victim reported the listed property missing from his vehicle *(1) 40 Cal Semi Auto Handgun, (1) Samsung Galaxy cellphone and some money Division 6 Beat 5 Burg-6408 Six Mile Ln-victim stated that when she returned home she discovered that her home had been broken into. An unknown suspect(s) gained entry by removing a screen from the front window then opening an unlocked window. Once inside the suspect(s) removed the listed property *(1) Dell Laptop Computer, some money and some jewelry Burg-2500 Block of Meadow Dr-victim stated that an unknown suspect(s) gained entry into his home through a rear door. Once inside the suspect(s) removed the listed property *(1) XBOX 360, (1) Camcorder and (1) Sony Laptop Computer Burg-3117 Hunsinger Ln-victim advised that an unknown suspect gained entry into his apartment by damaging the front door. Once inside the suspect removed the listed property *(1) Samsung 43 LCD TV and (2) HP Laptop Computers Burg-2400 Block of Proctor Ct-victim stated that an unknown suspect(s) gained entry into his tool shed and removed the listed property *(2) chainsaws, (1) Dremel 750 battery operated rotary tool, (1) Craftsman circular saw, (1) Black & Decker Jigsaw, (1) Ryobi 700R Gas Trimmer, (1) Craftsman Impact Wrench, (1) set of sockets/ratchets, (1) set of Craftsman wrenches, (1) Sony IPOD Docking station, (1) Air Pump and several other tool sets Burg-3100 Block of Hunsinger Ln-victim stated that an unknown suspect gained entry into his tool shed and removed the listed property *the keys to all of the apartments Burg-3415 Bardstown Rd-@ Grace Fellowship Church-Reporting Party stated that an unknown suspect gained entry into this location by breaking the front door. Once inside the suspect removed the listed item *(1) Toshiba L650 satellite laptop computer Burg-8601 Fenwick Creek Place-@ Fenwick Place Apt clubhouse-reporting Party advised that an unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the clubhouse through a side window. Once inside the suspect(s) removed the listed property *(2) Emerson 32 LCD TVs and (1) Toshiba 60 LCD TV Robbery-3705 Bardstown Rd-@ White Castle-victim stated that an unknown B/F juvenile approached her and asked for a ride home. The victim refused to give the suspect a ride and the suspect became violent attacking the victim. The suspect robbed the victim of her *purse and fled on foot. The juvenile suspect was later arrested and taken into custody

7 TBUT Auto-2900 Block of Yorkshire Blvd-victim advised that an unknown suspect stole her vehicle *a 2008 Dodge Charger/White MO (KE9Z3M). The victim stated that her son also had the listed property taken from her vehicle *(1) Keltec 9mm pistol, (1) Apple IPOD, (5) lawn chairs and (1) set of football pads. The victim s vehicle was later recovered by the Audubon Park PD. Arrested Bradford A McKeehan W/M 08/25/1988 TBUT Auto-4200 Block of Wisteria Landing Circle-victim advised that an unknown suspect removed his *2007 Suzuki Colt/Red/Black KY (DC921) from the listed location TBUT FM Auto-2900 Block of Yorkshire Blvd-victim stated that an unknown suspect gained entry into his unlocked vehicle and removed the listed property *(1) Samsung MP3 Player and (2) pairs of sunglasses TBUT FM Auto-3300 Block of Noe Way-victim stated that an unknown suspect gained entry into her vehicle by unknown means. Once inside the suspect removed the listed property *(1) UK wallet, (2) blank checks, (1) social security card, (2) CDs and some money TBUT FM Auto-2961 Breckenridge Ln-@ McDonalds-victim advised that an unknown suspect gained entry into her vehicle while she was inside the listed location. The victim reported the listed property taken from her vehicle *(1) Targus Computer Backpack, (1) Asus Laptop Computer, (1) HP 1010 printer, (2) software programs and some medication

9 *A few key points Please remember that some crimes are preventable and you can do your part! Please remember to secure all values before you exit your vehicle! (GPS, Laptops, Purses, Cell Phones, etc) And don t forget to lock your doors! Please remember when you make a new purchase (Televisions, Game Systems, Stereo Equipment, etc) to record the model and serial numbers of the items along with the value of these items at the time of purchase! Remember to keep the information in a secured location! Photographs of your valuables (Jewelry, Electronics, and Special Coins etc) are very important to help with the recovery of your property! When planning to be away from home on vacation don t forget to stop your paper delivery and have someone pick up your mail. Remember that sometimes criminals study the obituaries and plan burglaries around times that you may be away from home attending the funeral of a loved one. Always make plans to have someone watch your home during the times that you are away! Remember to never leave your doors or windows unlocked when you leave your home; because thieves could be watching!
